Yeah, I'm sure the eyes will be fine in-hand. The outfit still looks too doll-like for me. The translucency is correct, but it drapes like she's wearing a napkin. I just received Blitzway's Marilyn Monroe, whose fabric dress drapes beautifully despite its light weight, so Leia's gown can be done right. This is my most anticipated figure, but it's too much to pay for just a great head sculpt.

But it won't be. The dress will be the same material as Luke's pants and Han's shirt -- which are difficult to futz because water treatment fails when it dries.

Ashame in their rush they used this material choice since there's really nothing to her except sculpt and dress.

You're right. At least HT has proven with this one that they're capable of a great Leia portrait (even the sculpted hair looks gorgeous here), so I eagerly anticipate an eventual Hoth or Boushh version. I'm only disappointed because my Darth Vader is ANH.

From the Tokyo International Gift Show.

Looks like they haven't tweaked the sculpt at all thankfully. It's still a slightly idealized likeness, but looks so good I'd hate for them to risk messing it up in any way.

My mate laughed at me when I placed an order for Leia. He reckons its dreadful and too basic.
I am convinced it will look great with the rest of the team, and he will be chasing it (like he did C3PO) after he sees it in hand. So, Im looking forward to her arrival.

Looks great. Hate the metal waist band though. I will probably remove that piece and just tie an elastic band around the stand and pull one leg through.

I'm not using that waist grabber either. She looks light enough to stand on her own.
