Yep i bet another freebee for the reviewer ,must be nice. I dont think will understand this business of reviewing toys when company's should or could do the presentation of the products they sell in best light. Whatever over it. Bring on the review 2 more month's maybe get lucky and have by end of this month.

website wont go live till its ready to be sold. its on hold at the moment. I hear its due to start this month sometime. You'll probably see it in the shops before you see the advert

I don't have the invoice in front of me but i wanna say it was like $30. I'm in california and only 2 hours from their location, so shipping isn't much for me

First off...i've addressed this MANY times so i guess i'll just go ahead and do it again. The overwhelming majority of stuff i get to review I PAY FOR. I get several discounts from companies, including Sideshow, typically in the 10-20% off range. I feel that is an acceptable discount for the work that i do. Instead of assuming that this is "another freebee for the reviewer", perhaps you should be more respectful and just ask if you don't already know.
Also, i've asked many times why they don't just do their own videos. I'm pretty certain my "light" isn't a problem haha. For companies, it's about exposure. Getting things seen by as many people as possible. While they could do their own video, it wouldn't necessarily reach my audience, which is a decent sized one at that. The answer i get as to why they just don't do it though, is they don't have the man power to dedicate someone exclusively to filming reviews. I'm a cheap alternative for them.

Well i asked you about you shipping when you posted and were on and didnt answer. I only brought up the question about shipping because sideshow has listed at 37.50 and that feels light compared to what i paid for the 89 ride. I took a look at big bad toys shipping was much higher. Also i guess hit your SORE spot when assumed you get for free for reviewing so i apologize sorry OPT. I do enjoy your video's and many reviews while we wait for the item's. This one needs a good review and will be much appreciated. Again sorry now know you do not get FREE like some reviewer's had in past blatantly said they did but instead just a SMALL discount for your review. Congrats on Delorean and look forward to your thought's and review of this release.

Sideshow isn't shipping yet. I get mine shipped sooner than most to give me time to work on my review. I don't know shipping dates unfortunately but i would GUESS it will be soonish

I just went through my invoices and the shipping for me was $23.72. But remember, i'm also closer. It makes sense that the shipping for the 89 Batmobile would be more. It was a bigger piece in both size and weight. The package was larger to manage that as well.
I apologize for snapping at you. It is a sore spot when people constantly make assumptions about ME because of what they heard about me or heard about other reviewers. We're not all the same. If someone doesn't know something, instead of just assuming, i wish they'd just ask. I don't mind answering questions and i've always been very open about things for the most part.

Thanks for all the support guys! I really do appreciate it...way more than i'll ever be able to convey to each of you.
I will say though, i didn't bother talking about the lack of lights on the time circuits. I honestly had a whole segment were i went off on it i guess...but ultimately decided to cut it out of the final video. Not because of any other reason that they never advertised that it was going to do that. So i couldn't leave me bitching at Hot Toys in there when it wasn't something they ever really promised us. Would it have been nice, absolutely. I would have rather they had that light up than the lights along the inside of the roof. But as a review, i couldn't knock points off on something they never indicated they'd give to us. Hope that makes sense...
We can Monday morning quarterback their decisions all day long but they ultimately made the decision they did. Like it or not. We're stuck with it as it is. Maybe they'll put it in the 2.0 version....which i will gladly "double dip" and buy when that comes out

I read of some moaning about the time circuitry not lighting up or the pillars being slightly off being a deal breaker. Not ideal however I hope some of you aren't serious about not ordering this due to these minor flaws as I don't know how you will ever get another *1/6* scale Delorean (unless your banking on bttf 2 which is not garaunteed)
In any case I can't wait for this to ship!!
