Yep! You got it! I almost mentioned that before I remembered the "Bad Dates" thing.

Still, who really wants the "Bad Dates" Indy? I tossed it up to Irish because I figured if there was anyone who would try to make that 2nd head useful it would be him.

F that. Not worth it. I'll just get the Regular version from an authorized retailer for $40-$50 less than the retarded Exclusive. They can bite me on this one.

Jeez, you're all like the kid who gets everything he could possibly want for Christmas but can only complain about the one thing he didn't get.

It happens like this - if the 12" Indy only had a hatted head with no alternative, everyone would have been up in arms and demanding that SSC had no idea what they were doing. So the same thinking gets applied to the PF, alternate heads have been de rigeur for a while now and with a character that has a hat it makes perfect sense.

Isn't the most iconic image from the trailer from the new film show Indy putting on the hat? See - it does come off!

It came off in Last Crusade when the tank left the cliff... until 'somehow' it rolled up to Indy's feet...

...of course, no idol in that one...

...but yeah, it's not the greatest exclusive but so what? The PF's a classic as is - if you don't like/want the hatless head, son't order it. Simple!

I'll order the exclusive purely for the 'what if' regarding the production paint apps. Soooo much easier on a repaint job.

Gotta agree, I don't really care what the exclusive was, this Figure is getting ordered anyway, anything else is just extra

In my case, waiting for the regular to hit retail stores or eBay doesn't make sense. I am an EU customer and I'm ordering directly from Sideshow, because of Flexpay. I don't care about the alternative head, but either regular or exclusive I'm going to spend the same amount of money on this PF, so, exclusive for me.

Oh, one little thing: The statue is absolutely amazing.

All you have to do is remove the jacket, dirty the shirt and rip if. Swap the whip of a machette and the idol for one of the holy stones.

Then maybe change the base.

If I had the money then I might think about doing it.

Ignoring the fact that the example of the hat coming of is not from RAIDERS... Yeah, okay ... so where is the loose hat for him to hold, then??? I mean, they even did that on the 12".

Sorry, I call it like I see it. I'll always love Sideshow and because of that I have high standard and expectations. So when they F up I call them on it. Switching to ABS on the Fett PF and letting it known at the 11th hour while not changing the price was a bad move. And so is this.

The apologists cannot win this one. There is simply no way to rationally explain the choice for the Exclusive here (especially when considering there are NO other display options... like a gun holding hand, medallion, etc).

Its clear that the iconic version of Indy is with his hat, and just because you manage to get your priority order in that it deserves a pat on the back in the form of a variation envied by everyone else who missed out. Please !

Sideshow, I applaud you and a big thank you from all us regular collectors who would have normally missed out on an exclusive.

Uh, I don't know of a single person who has said that.

The point has been... the extra hatless head is completely WORTHLESS and dumb (exclusive or not), especially without a loose hat to hold.

There are countless ideas for exclusives that all would have made more sense (and been more fitting for the character and the product) than this. THAT is what we're upset about.

I must say that the exclusive is a let down but this PF is just so awsome. Way to much complaining IMO. I am just so happy that they got the sculpt right I could care less about what the exclusive is.


Can't wait to get this one.
