I have-way back with the Batman Michael Keaton statue. I called it a while back that this would happen. But it doesn't matter as long as fellow collectors give this statue a chance regardless of their initial stance, it's really a win win as long as you're happy with your decision to buy it or not or even to return it.

MS, if you want it, jump on the waitlist now, I know it sucks that you wont get the discount, I seriously begrudge buying things if I know they have been cheaper before so I know your pain. But you clearly like it, so just get on the list now while there's a 90% chance you'll get one and pay the extra as most people did anyway. Or just get a regular as that is the set up that looks the best anyway by far! And unlike the P1, you'll even get both heads which is the most important part.

Forgive my ignorance, but - is the code still working? If yes, why don't people just apply it to the Regular and snag that one with the discount? The Ex is pointless. I get that it's more limited and a better investment but either way with the code people can pick the statue for sensibly under retail.
I'd rather pick the discounted Regular and put the saved money towards improving it, than jumping on WL for the Ex with no discount and end up with a pair of useless accessories.

It was a pop up code on the website. If you stayed on the Predator Ex page long enough a pop up appeared that you could click. Good only for the Ex.

Thanks! I waitlisted shortly after it sold out. To be honest, if it converts I may only keep the order if SS discounts it like they allegedly did to sell out the EX. Because I don't think it's right to charge the first half full price and offer the second half so-to-speak a discount to sell out the rest.

That's the other thing, they're not going to offer their "pop-discount" for their regular edition? Pfft good luck selling it. I'd imagine eventually they'll have to dust off their pop up discount and offer it for the reg too to sell it out.

I seriously doubt they will discount a conversion tbh, that is a deal to entice people having second thoughts it seems which is why it works in the manner it does. You have willingly joined a waitlist at full price to be fair, but I guess you could ask..

I doubt they will too, but in a sense I'd be showing second thoughts if I let tell them I'm canceling unless I'm offered the same discount as they offered others. I know how to play the game.

With all due respect mastersafara, but if you have to state to someone, "I know how to play the game," then you really don't. Besides, SS representative are not on commission and there are plenty of others out there who would be willing to pay $1,200.

I see your point, but in the end if I don't get what I want then I just back out of the deal. You're not going to win every game you play. Doesn't mean you don't know how to play it. Yes I know there will be others willing to pay full retail. There will be more too willing to pay after market price for this thing too, which will be well over retail at that point I predict.
