So I got my figure today.

My opinion. It's a very nice set. The knives are metal, dummy is wooden, clothing sits nicely on the figure (not sure about the robe, since I haven't tried it on the figure yet), body (from what I can tell) is alright, & the scenery backdrop with 3D sign is nice. Now to the most important part of the figure (to me), the head sculpt. I feel it's a tiny step down from the prototype. It's a bit softer, & not quite the same quality in skin texture, but that's kinda normal for these things I guess. The sculpt shines at certain angles, & well placed shadows helps sometimes as well. But other times, it can look a bit weird. Dont know what exactly it is at some angles, sometimes I think it's the mouth, then the hair, & even the shape of the head, but I'm not sure. Overall though, it's still a quality sculpt, & the likeness is there to me. I still like it better than the original Ip Man sculpt, but perhaps the gap in quality between the sculpts, might not be as wide as I thought.

Congratz that is quick. Good job on getting a Good set. The only bit I was worried about was front hair piece being not glued properly on these.

We shouldn't have to but am sure a badly glued one should be an easy fix.. but i rather the hair was just the one whole sculpted piece. Especially on the area where it's so easily seen:slap

I saw a couple of pictures of ip man, the hands are a completely different color than the head and body, can you confirm that lawrence? maybe it's camera trickery, but they were pale with no paint whatsoever...

I don't know why they did it like that. It's not like he has a swap out fringe or anything. Weird decision.

They are painted, but sometimes when I look at the hands, I feel like whoever painted them got lazy & simply painted the back of the hands, up to about the 1st finger joint, then said "meh, nobody will notice if I don't paint the rest" :lol Where it is painted, I feel the colour is not an exact match to the head sculpt, but close enough.

Really nice improvement from previous release. On some angle, likeliness is dead on.

Hands look really strange like he's wearing gloves. I think it's the paint job. Headsculpt looks good. But again, I think the paint makes his face looks too soft.

$240 on the Enterbay online store. A bit more than I though it would be.

Guys merry Xmas all. I have a quick question do you think this toy and the Bruce Lee 75th version figure will drop in price in the coming year? Or for you think it will rise because if shortage? Let me know if anyone has any experience in these situations? I don't mind waiting if it gets cheaper but don't want to pay a premium. :) thanks

Im gonna use ip man 1 hands for this, but if it doesn't look good in hand ill probably sell the figure and keep the accessories lol

Those are some great fighting poses. Very accurate looking.
