Did anyone lose a hand in this one? I do not recall.
This will be the first star wars ep with no limbs missing...

She'll lose a hand in the next one.

Ren's likely already had his lobbed off by Snoke -- his power-force hand.

I always enjoyed the story that Palpatine ripped off both of Vader's arms after the first Death Star was destroyed explaining why Vader couldn't do force lightning. Of course that EU story was from long before the whole prequel dismembering thing.

His scarring has begun. He will probably lose more and more of his body as the movies go on, eventually being covered in his armour the more of his humanity he loses.

I disagree completely. His humanity is a big part of his character. They didn't want to make another Vader so why make another Vader?

He just had his big eye opening over confidence defeat. I don't see him having ANOTHER even bigger defeat to where he loses limbs.

I really wish Chewie went into Wookie Rage mode and ripped off a Stormtrooper's arm after you know what...

There is a scene in the audiobook were he rips of one of Unkar Plutts arms (he follows Rey and confronts her in Maz Cantina). :rock

I was looking at the books on Amazon and saw the novelization was written by Alan Dean Foster. Should be a good read, as not only is he a great author, but he was there at the beginning writing Star Wars for George.

Here's a (spoiler filled) analysis of the novelization if you need some more motivation to acquire it... or just wish to learn what it does reveal that the movie doesn't.

I can't believe Timcent is still selling them for $391 without a problem in Ebay. There is no way I'd pay almost double just to get it a month sooner...

Just got him tonight. Holy crap he is awesome. The paint apps on his helmet, hands and boots are fantastic but the clothing is what really shines here. The materials, patterns and all of the layering is just perfectly done. I'm amazed at what Hot Toys was able to pull off with their cut and stitch while still making Kylo one of the most poseable figures of the Star Wars line thus far. His cross guard saber is wicked. They added texture to the blades to mimic it's instability, compared to the smooth blades of say Luke and Vader.

Definitely my favorite figure right now.

Will get him after seeing the movie today, but he is no Darth Vader. When he took his helmet off in the movie, my daughters were like "Ewwwwww, put it back on!" Funny they got an actor who did not look even remotely like han or Leia.
