Now they've redone the Probot, I hope they redo the e-web cannon and do a snowie re-release, maybe as a two pack.
If SSC is going down the list of stuff that sold out but has demand, those would be good ones to add.

Ordered this today. So many Hot Toys coming out and lots on pre order already but I could not ignore this again.

Dewback would be awesome. Though they would price it at $499.99 and charge $800 to ship it.

It's possible that Sideshow's 1/6th license to Star Wars was not renewed, so if their current license was based on the calendar year, then they would want to get as many orders of stuff as possible now before the new year while they still have the license.

Here, here! I missed the e-webb the first time around and would welcome that combo...always wanted to get another Snowtrooper too....one of my all-time favorites from Sideshow....

Thanks for posting. I figured from that set photo it'd pop up in that scene. But it's such a weird place for there to be a probe droid!

No-one will not buy the Probe Droid b/c the snow base is missing, though, so it's unlikely they would care. Regardless, it's pretty stingy not to include it, but SSC probably figures they're doing the buyers of the original run a solid (plus saving a few bucks for themselves). I actually was surprised to see that the price stayed at $250.00, though. I'd have guessed $275 since they were doing well in the aftermarket.

Haha, I meant from a certain point of view (i.e., benefits SSC coming and going). 
There is now a higher than average chance of it happening now but Ill wait to see what HT has in the works.

Yeah, I love SSC's Snowtrooper but sold mine off in favour of HT's eventual release. I figure it can't be more than a year or so before we see those go up for pre-order.

That's the gamble--will HT make the snowtroopers? It's not a sure thing at this point.

Really? I'd wager it's as safe as bets get. Stormtrooper, Sandtrooper, next logical choice is the Snowie. Put it in the bank, Lu!

Only because of all the TFA stuff happening now. I think the focus is going to shift from the OT now. Plus, Jack Bauer had said that there would only be 3 or 5 (don't remember) from ESB and 3 or 5 from ROTJ. I think HT will stick to that because they'll be putting out so much TFA stuff. The sandie and all the variants we've seen were easy because they had the basic armor done. The snowie will be a new figure from top to bottom.
I hope I'm wrong because I passed on the Sideshow snowie! I think maybe eventually they'll get to the snowie and maybe the scout, but not for a good several years.
