1/4 Hot Toys - QS005 - Avengers: AoU - Iron Man Mark 43 Collectible Figure

One started being designed six months or more (hot toys) before the other(KA) and only had the 42 and production art to go by. Things change during filming and post. They may not have been able to adjust the proto before tooling was made. Once tooling is made on a new buck, of a new figure chances are very slim it gets changed. Just depends on when in the process the adjusted digital model was made available to hot toys. And if they wanted to spend the extra thousands it may take when it will have ZERO impact on sales.

As far as IM goess I love HT 1/4 line compared to Statues. Outside of that statues win in my book. I can't stand joints or crotch stands or the toyish vibe I get from them.

Yeah both formats have there pro's & cons, I guess it just comes down to taste. Love statues but overall I think I prefer figures

Wish we got that movie-accurate missile on the 1/6th figure but understand why we didn't ... pretty sure the case will be the same for the 1/4th.

It is safe to say, by end of this month, however i received a strong hint that it might due on this week.

He got moved up evidently, which sucks, I had to cancel mine but I would imagine it will be available in Q1/Q2 2016

And if it releases in Hong Kong this week (at the earliest obviously) it will arrive elsewhere at the start of the first quarter 2016.

From the lastest photo by hot toys, which showed all the figures to be released soon.
The next one to be released should have been the mark 43. Sand trooper was not
even in the photo, but was released today! It's strange！
I'm just wondering, has HT listened to customers comment and start reengineering
the missile launcher on the arms? Which delayed its release schedule?

I can understand the chances are slim, besides the
redesign effort, HT need to seek approval from
Marvels for every amendment. Both time and cost
is a big concern. It's a shame they didn't get it right
in the first place.
