So they are doing another run?
Amazing. Less than two weeks ago SS told me the statue was sold out, so I cancelled my waitlist and bought one off eBay.
Now it's up for preorder.

Don't listen to SS's reps about what's sold out or not cause they never have correct information to give you. Ironic, but absolutely true. Listen to the experience from the people who are here and pretty much know how they operate to the exact science. Once it came back to waitlist, that was the hint they hadn't produced the entire run.
But they cancelled the waitlist and stopped taking reservations two weeks ago. I took that as a hint that it really was sold out.
Don't get me wrong, I got a good price on the one that I bought from eBay, it's in perfect shape, and I have it now instead of Feb-Mar 2016. It's just that I keep trying to give SS my money, and they keep finding ways to persuade me to spend it elsewhere.

That whole waitlist thing that SS has set up can really trip up the collectors cause it's most of the time, inaccurate. For example, the Hot toys Armory, all 3 sets at 1 time, they would put on the pre-order page, less than 50 left or waitlist. And then it would go back to full supply. And presently all 3 of these are still available to buy. So you can see what they do to push people to buy what are poor sellers. And then these reps never tell you anything that is true and accurate. That's why I stopped asking about waitlist. But I think you said your Supes was $446 with shipping from EBay, so you did pretty good cause that's a new 1 with shipping will cost.

Glad you are getting him. You will not be disappointed unless there is QC issues. Amazing pf figure my friend. A must have imo.
I couldn't agree more. The statue represents the Superman that I always imagined as an 8-year-old reading Superman and Action Comics.

Thanks, guys. You don't know how happy I was when I got the email conversion yesterday. I saw him up close in a LCS and it was indeed impressive. The face was captured very nicely and it's a masterpiece. He will have his own spot on the outside top of a 50 inch BestA. I was gonna put my Seinfeld Supes there but the spot is reserved for Supes PF. TaRaRaTaTaTa, TaRaRaTaRa. The brotha is coming. Hehehehe.

Did you get it at the movie theatre back in 1978. I saw that movie in the theatre and I could've gotten an original poster but wasn't into anything that could be collectible significance.
