1/6 Hot Toys - Star Wars Episode IV - 1/6th scale Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper Disguise

Got mine yesterday. The sweaty look is fine and not noticable unless inspecting close up. I love how he also doubles as a Stormtrooper and the detail inside the helmet is great.

My one complaint is the googly eyes. The left eye isn't facing forward like the right eye. Mine is exactly the same as the pics posted above so it must be the whole production run.

Mine doesn't have googly eyes, both are looking in the same direction.

This is mine. It depends on which side you photograph him from but to me they look odd. Most of the others i have seen are exactly the same.

From this angle he doesn't look as bad

have sideshow released this figure yet or does anyone know when they may be?

I'm based in the UK and have only two more payments to drop on him. If he is due out any day then I may have to pay the rest this Friday, looks fantastic so far in the pictures.

Nobody has received a notice from Sideshow as far as I know. Probably still a few more weeks out before they start shipping.

They're supposed to be looking off to the side a little bit so posing the figure with that in mind (head cocked to the side a bit) may help. It's nice that the headsculpt is at least a tiny bit different than the farm boy Luke figure, but also adding slightly different hair would have been even better.

It's a good color match. Works pretty good and is in scale for Luke. I cut off the feet so the boots would fit and used the SS Bespin Luke tank top cause it covered the neck seem better.

I ended up cutting off the neck of the figure cause I didn't want to damage the HT neck and risk not being able to use the PERS. Works pretty well. I have a thread I started for this custom if anybody wants to see more pics.

Luke's hair looks pretty big compared to the face in a few pics, a bit of helmet hair - is it like that in hand, or a trick of the camera lens?
