I probably would too although I would hope he'd be one of the very last ones they make from the trilogy. Surprised we haven't seen Boba yet although he's a given, just a matter of when

Kylo Ren still looks terrible.

Phasma looks really good.

I can't believe Vader is the same height as Luke and Maul. They are dumber than Hasbro for that mistake alone.

Yeah, it was a pretty big blunder on their part. I do expect to see a 2.0 sooner than later though.

If I know Tamashii well enough, a 2.0 won't be anything drastically different from the original. Especially if it requires using more material to make him larger scale, I personally don't see it happening. They can re-release him all they want but the scale is set in stone. I sold my Figuart and ordered the Mafex Vader solely for that reason. Hopefully that one turns out good if he ever gets released that is...

^agreed. Out of all the smaller scale KR's, the SHF looks the best in every category I care about.

I'm curious to see how the Mafex Vader scales with SHF Stormtroopers and Jedi Luke. I may end up doing the same if they look better.

Yeah, does SHF usually do 2.0 versions? Seems like due to the fact that they are actually re-releasing the old one they may not really have any intention of going back and doing a new one if that one sells just fine as-is.

I just use my Bandai model kit Vader, he's the perfect size, has a removeable dome, AND the Unmasked head that comes with Luke fits on it very nicely too.

I have to disagree with you on Kylo Ren. I think it's the best looking figure of him in the 3 3/4 to 6 inch scale. The SH Figuarts Darth Maul puts the Hasbro to shame as well.

While the hood is a little off, everything else looks great!

Edit: Also, although Vader isn't as tall as he should be, he's clearly taller than Maul and Luke, so a bit of exaggeration on your part :wink1:.
