Interesting that the bike is back ordered as well. Seems like they literally just made enough to fulfill pre-orders and shipments to stores. Places like BBTS must be thrilled to have these in stock with sideshow out of stock already.

Surprised me too, like a week ago the exclusive was still for sale. Must have went exclusive to wait list? I've been putting this off but I ordered one from bbts, great price on shipping as usual.

Decided I can't be bothered with my issues on the bike, I super heated the handle bar on a stove element and melted it straight.

There's also the little bar that's snapped off inside the rear flap. It looks like the slidey bit was glued in place, but shouldn't that rotate with the metal rod as the flap opens and shuts? I didn't think there was any way for CS to do anything but send a full body which I don't really want to destroy. I've got to do that with R2... and I'm cringing at the thought! Something this small, never glues well, any ideas how to best fix this?

I seem to be hitting one problem after another with the Sideshow toys recently, four from three. My R2 replacement parts were worse than the original (actually felt like a refurbished return sent out to me). I'll just stick primarily with Hot Toys. I hope they make a scout trooper next! Sideshow CS is great though. Just don't feel their prices are in line with what we really get, though I s'pose even Hot Toys have gone down a notch with accessories...

Mind you the last few things before that were pretty awesome, Stormshadow, Batman & Baroness. The scout is just cool coz he's a scout trooper and he has a bike which is available. Nothing to do with SSC, and the rocks are still crap!

Saw this at a local shop today and after talking to the dude that worked there not one out of the three they got was not damaged. He actually told me that sideshow was giving them problems on returning them. They already had one customer return one because of the issues it had. I'm wondering if SS has these on backorder due to them fixing the issues?

Yeah, I'll have to get on that. Problem is I have nowhere to display it right now and from everything I've read it's not something that can be taken apart. Oh well, I'll just put it together and display it on top of my fridge or something.

I've been seriously thinking it.

BBTS also have the Black series Speederbikes in the sale bin! They made too many. I hope the Sideshow ones go the same way! $28, or $35 for two and get a fat slug for free!

Considering they're already backordered on Sideshow's site, think they're gonna move quickly from BBTS until the next batch comes next year.
