I get what your saying, but I never read the old stuff and just could never really get into the art work or stories to much so they have always been magnetos kids to me, but I can understand how someone who liked the originals might like that retcon even tho I really think it was done as a shot at fox for putting pietro in there xmen movie right before he was in avengers to try and take away from their xmen claim.

That's interesting cause I saw it the other way. Joss announced that he was gonna put the twins in AOU first and then a few months later, Bryan Singer announced that he was putting Quicksilver in DOFP, so I saw that FOX was taking a shot at Disney. Least that's how I remember the news stories coming out. I'll check.

Yeah this came out in April 25th, 2013.

But tbh, who even knows when all the planning happened for these movies. They both share the rights due to the characters having massive parts in both properties. But yeah.

Again, people forget about Django and and Marya Maximoff being their parents first but yeah it really is unfortunate that this whole licensing thing happened. It'll never ****ing happen but Fox and Marvel are NEVER going to be in a good working relationship like how Sony and Marvel were. At least Sony still allowed Spidey in merchandising when they didn't share the rights just yet.

Fox is never gonna let go of FF either as well cause the last time they gave a property back to Marvel they struck absolute gold with it in Daredevil and they sure as hell don't want that to happen again if they get the FF back. It really is a shame.

Agreed, I would be all for marvel controlling it all or at least having fox and marvel work together like you said so all the properties would mesh well and we could get some really quality films and shows out of it.

Well to retain the rights they need to keep making a FF film every few years, so unless they like to lose money, I highly doubt Fox will hold onto FF simply out of pride and vanity. In all likelihood they'll work out a deal with Marvel to get something in return.

After some initial remorse at passing up the AoU Cap I think I'm gonna prefer the CW version.

I'm kind of excited for this falcon figure if it comes with the drone red wing and they are as cool as they sound from the early reports. I already have the winter soldier falcon which I love, so it will be kind of hard for me to replace him but there is definitely a chance, I love the idea of the drone red wing so at very least I am gonna have to get that even if I keep my winter soldier falcon. The other figure that I am stoked for is the new war machine armor, if it looks as good as the concept art it will definitely be my other civil war hot toys purchase.

Falcon is on my short list along with Widow and War Machine... This may bloat a little but I would rather avoid another Cap and Iron Man if I can unless they have suits we haven't seen concept hints of... especially Cap as hes so similar to the AoU version I have (second unless is whether I have a separate pair displayed fighting while the ones I have join the growing list of Avengers)
