Just for fun, I put this picture into the "how old do I look" website.......

came back as 63......

Which would be the same age he was during the release of ANH.

So... at least Hot Toys got the aged look right.

Wow! I leave this thread for a while and everybody gets delusions of grandeur!

I always wanted a complete collection of Manga Star Wars characters.

It's a toy. I like it. I'm buying it.

Interested to see if there is anything PixelPiper can do with that light up saber. Is it worth trying or just buy back my Sideshow Ben for the robes and the sabers?

I will see you a Kenobi-san and raise you a Benihana.

The squintier eyes are killing this for me as Wor-Gar gif'd for us. I think they tried to make him look older with a stern expression and as someone here pointed out lost the kinder and wiser man we loved as Ben.

I think it's hoods up for me too.

That lightsaber looks terrible.

This is one figure HT should've left to Sideshow!

Two pics are early to judge, but man, I usually think all of Hot Toys sculpts look pretty good, and am never to critical bout the sculpts, but dang this does not resemble Alec at all.

I agree. This might be the weakest offering all year...

This looks to me like a great figure - perhaps the sculpt could be sharper, but overall seems to be a winner.

Yeah I see the deficits in the likeness but I see Guinness and it's definitely obi-wan. Besides that I think the figure itself is a bit lackluster. I sort of regret ordering it because I think he's going to discount

NO Fun on the Hate train i know it's all in good fun but get's old when u like the figure. I cant wait to pick him up and see some reviews while we wait.

I don't think stating a opinion makes this forum a bad place or poking some fun at a figure.

To be fair, others have had the same thoughts, not just me......

Difference is I have this on PO and still plan to buy it. Not sure if I can say that about others....

When the last few pages is just strait up ripping on the figure who wants to venture into a thread to argue they like it ? I love getting shot at know it's not fun and pointless not trying to convince anyone to buy. I get it everyone has same right to love or hate but not going to stick around a bunch of hater's and argue. I'll be back when reviews n love come's back usually when figure starts shipping people turn into dolphins and flip OMG i gotta have him and mod to my liking or better in hand.

Will eventually order, but not at retail price. Same goes for Vader. With so much coming out and trying to collect SW and DC, you have to be patient and wait for deals if you can.

I love Obi-wan but i don't get the detail on the beard .. seems odd to me

Head size doesn't seem right... too narrow
