After experimenting with my '66 batman and liking how it turned out. I set out to do a few projects I wanted to do on this piece. I am very happy with how it turned out. There are 2 or 3 minor mistakes but I don't think they're too noticeable. It's not really a full body suit. I sewed the shirt and glued the wrist, waist, and neck area to the figure so it doesn't pull off. The legs are basically sleeves on each leg piece which again I glued on to each end.

It's not noticeable in the photo but after looking at Libby's after he pulled the hair off, it seemed that he put the hair just a smidge lower and It look way better for me. So I did the same thing. It's not a lot but the distance from the bottom of the curl to the top of the eyebrow is cut in half.

I am undecided what to do for the "S" shield. Whether to get a red cloth and glue it on top of the shirt, Or just paint it on the shirt itself. Anyway, it's the only thing I need to do to finish this.

that looks fantastic ,well done ,this may solve your problem with the emblem ,printable vinyl ,its super thin and if warmed up first will mould to the contours of the chest and sticks like ***** to a blanket ,sorry the pics upside down lol ,my nephew got his on ebay but the web sites in the pics so maybe you could get it direct ,this was just a test fit to show how thin the vinyl is ,carefully fitted and pre heated you could get the creases out if required ,hope this helps cheers

no worries glad to help ,i look forward to seeing your finished ,how and where did you cut the trunks ,the boots easy or hard to remove from the pegs ,inquiring minds need to know lol

The trunks are cut from on side along the seam line and then slipped off one leg. Using the boiling method, it takes a moderate effort to pry off the boots from the legs. The glue is still there. I would say, it is about the same effort as removing the hair from the head. IF no one here has removed the boots off this piece, the glue is along the top of the boots and the boots are removed as one piece. The trunks are already tight to the body, so keep that in mind when choosing the material. The material I used was a t-shirt I bought from walmart.

Lol! Yes Indeed! His work was the best on display by far and the colors are extra vibrant. I'm upset that I could not find a good Batman in the entire convention :-(
