So I ordered this and the Powergirl PF without ever seeing a Sideshow PF in person. I was out and about tonight and stopped at a local toy shop that kinda doubles as a comic shop. They had the Batman PF on the floor and I noticed it while walking out and literally had a "holy ****" moment at just how huge he was. This is gonna be nuts. I knew they were big but WOW

Spidey, who is the rendering modeled after? While a good looking portrait, Im not sure the proto matches the facial features of the masked portrait. Shoulda went with Rhona Mitra...

Is this your first female sculpts it's great.

It is Krec, BUT unlike all my male sculpts this didn't start off from a sphere. There is a very basic female and male Headsculpt in Zbrush. Somewhat I did was take that basic Headsculpt and do tweaks to it in terms of the cheekbones, jawlin, expression and detailing to get this to have a soul. The hair and cowl are all me. I have a female Headsculpt I have been working on, but it isn't nearly there yet, and I wanted to get this done for the Doc faster than the 4-6 months of tweaking that one would probably take.

She isn't rendered of anyone in particular m8, and I didn't go for the ArtGerm look. I kind of wantd this one to be a little different so she had a different flavour, and because most guys who take a shat at ArtGerm portrait don't hit the mark. As for using Rhona Mitra I will take that under advisement m8 and see what Doc wants.

We have reviewed your inquiry with the pictures you have provided and have found that your figure is consistent with all of our Batgirl figures. Please know that since these figures are all individually hand crafted and hand painted, there will be minor variations and inconsistencies on each and every piece. With this in mind, we will not be able to provide you a replacement that would be an improvement on the figure you currently have.


If you are not fully satisfied with your Batgirl, you may return it for a refund of the product purchase price only. Since the figure is not damaged, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost if you wish to return it.

Sideshow had lost their damn minds. I've spent about $8,000 with them over the last year and have 14 pending orders. This runaround BS is enough to make me consider canceling. If that terrible paint job and scratches aren't "damage", I don't know what is.
