I actually like the repaint a lot and brings a lot more then Heartbreaker. I also dig the mini figures and the blast effects.

I know some are bored with the red/gold paint scheme and it is kinda refreshing.

I may get it since I never get the Summer Exclusives and this may just be a repaint and standard but I like the brown a lot and if I ever want to sell it later on I can make my cash back and much more.

I've embarked on a mission to collect all of the 1/6 scale IM3 armors (including Midas, as my wallet shivers in my pocket ). That said, I'm excited for this figure, even if it is just a repainted Heartbreaker. The figure itself looks awesome, but I'm not sure yet how I feel about the Mark 9 and Disco minifigures, since to me they look like unarticulated mini-armors rather than the "armors in the background" perspective that Hot Toys is going for. I'm also worried that these will replace the 1/6 scale figures for Mark 9 and Disco, which would be unfortunate since I think they're two of the better-looking IM3 armors and would look great at 1/6 scale.

I think it has a lot to do with sales. The Iron Man exclusive figures sell out fast. Some of their other exclusives, not so much.

I understand the logic. Hey, you have to make what is going to sell the best.

I'm just jealous because I have other interest that don't involve getting another iteration of Iron Man.

Yeah those are just painted cast figures not unlike the exclusive hologram ones. Hopefully don't add to much to the price...
