to tell the truth, the lip tuckunder is bothering me less and less. I do like the overall snarl/hiss look in general and the more I look at pics of animals they all tend to tuck their upper lip and push their teeth/gums out.

Couldn't agree more about the snarl. That's what I said and thought when I first saw it.

:exactly: Isn't Wolverine supposed to get pretty feral the longer a fight goes on, bezerker blood-lust feral.

Base and arrows to me says ninjas, lots of them.

Yeah. In my mind. He's been fighting them off, turned to see 100 more, finished healing, and is letting out that feral growl.

yeah don't get how anybody can look at that expression and see pain either. Must not be a lot of Lie to Me fans on the board lol. Just google pain and expression, almost all have their eyes closed and every face muscle pulled toward the center like a butthole lol. Here we have head and neck flattened, eyebrows down and together, forward glare/white eyes=rage in almost every comic drawing out there. I don't see pain here at all, only pain about to be inflicted. Ga, I miss that show!

I like it, the Brown costume was always one of my favorites and the unmasked sculpt with the sword would definitely channel Miller's run. I'm not wild on the price though.

Still waiting for my Astonishing version with the smaller mask. That's the Wolvie I want.

This looks MUCH better- but the base needs to be fully environmental- not a half-assed hodgepodge mixing abstract with environmental just to squeeze some much needed height out of it for the price tag.

Such a shame, as it is SOOOOO close to being a really kick-ass representation of this character. But I sure as hell ain't laying down $500 only to have to look to another source, and fork out even more money, for a better portrait. AAARRRGGHHH! So close :gah:

I would pre-order that in a millisecond.

In terms of smaller masks, I would love to see a first appearance version. I wish they would have went with that instead of the lip biting alternate sculpt for the first PF. I didn't even bother with that exclusive since I knew I would never use it.

Man I will be tempted to order this ...sorely tempted...flexed of course

It does look like he's just stubbed his toe on something, not exactly the battle face you'd expect when he's about to tear it up with Sabretooth, hopefully Sideshow take notice and change the face as its getting a lot of flack over on statue forum as well.

Man people have seen, Angry, snarling, Laughing, and now pain.... Which is it??? I am so confused ;)

just not sure how to feel about the suit texture. Almost looks hairy against his hairless arms...

I think you summed it up very well with this post.
