I am on a high right now but I will say that Fury Road has probably the greatest action I have ever seen in a movie. Seriously....I cannot believe this got made. It still has the Miller over the top-ness but amplified up to 1,000. I still miss Mel in the role of Max, Hardy was good but Mel sold it better for me. That minor set back aside, this will be seen by me at least 3 more times in the theater and I will watch the hell out of this on bluray.

Oh and it is a reboot. Loose connection to the other films. But this stands on its own as a new version of Mad Max. And that's probably for the best. I look forward to more Tom Hardy films and maybe he will grow on me the more I see it. Which I will be....a lot!

Miller at 70 years old just kicked the crap out of almost every young action filmmaker working today.

It went up to 99% on RT.

My expectations are too high now :lol

just watched it. kinda enjoyed it more than days of ultron tbh. lolz
the vehicle chase and stunt work is like watching the crazies do cirque de solei stuff the movie.:lol
no batman vs superman trailer, we got polterderp, san adreas goes to hell and raptor jesus rises trailers instead.:yess:

This was easily better than AoU. I have no problems admitting it.

I have no idea how this movie will do

but if this flops like Dredd you can kiss R rated movies good bye... you can't even blame studios if they quit big budget R movies all together.... as an investor it wouldn't even make sense.

Disney and studios in general have been on a never ending crusade to infantilize movie audiences. R rated movies like this one are movies that should be made more often to counter the endless waves of children movies aimed at adults like marvel movies or disney movies.

I really hope people go to see this one, just so that we grown ups will get more of these movies instead of the babysitter movies made by Disney/Marvel.

This sounds like the next big surprise...like Kingsman was (at least to me)...and that's a good thing :)

This came out in Aus today.missed seeing it but will definetely go tomorrow!
Getting some awesome reviews so far.

Not seeing this movie in Aus is punishable by death! :lol

Watched Road Warrior the other night and am watching Thunderdome now. First time for me, never watched these growing up. Wow, quite a change in tone with the third one. Road Warrior has boomerangs lodged in heads and a woman being raped and murdered and Thunderdome is pretty much The Goonies.

Thunderdome is more like Hook, turned Max into Peter Pan.

I still enjoyed it though, the action still holds up.

this part was a "holy ****!!!" moment for me.

Still at 99% from 90 reviews. Awesome. Can't wait for Maxurday.......

The one subhuman retard who gave it a negative review was one of the only people to positively review 50 Shades of Grey.

As far as I'm concerned this has a perfect score.

I was reading an article that talked about the production, can't believe this movie finished production 2 years ago, it's been in post for that long, I wonder if the CGI is that extensive or if it just took that long to edit. either way this movie is sounding impressive.
