See all that worry for nothing. I was never worried.

Spoiler Spoiler:

lol... You should go check out the other board... Now that is worrying to a tea. This piece is so awesome it has brought out the nervious little boy/girl in most people, and deservedly so.

To my knowledge no. He has been nothing but reliable.

Well there you go. I paid my deposit and don't expect to hear from him until my statue is ready to ship. Just a shame that is a fair bit off. I can't wait. :yess:

A little message to say, hey I'm going on vacation for a month, would have gone a long way. Would have taken a minute to post on one of the forums.

Maybe it's just my interpretation of Internet message board comments, but I don't think its really that much actual worrying. One guy posted that he had not gotten his statue and hasn't been able to get in touch with Mark. It seemed like he just wanted to know if others were in the same boat or if he needed to do something else. A few commented they were in the same boat, which seemed to generally resolve the matter.

Then some people felt the need to "defend" Mark, which was odd as I didn't really get the feeling Mark was being attacked. Then some constructive criticism about occasionally providing a status update could avoid the beginning comments.

If people are worrying, I don't get the feeling its because they think Mark took their money and disappeared. Sounds like they are more worried that something bad happened to Mark or that their order got lost in the shuffle due to some clerical error or something like that. You have to admit its far easier to order online and check your order status if you need an update rather than wait for a response from a guy trying to help you out over the Internet.

In this case, I get it. When you see people getting a statue and a few months go by and you haven't got yours, and you can't reach the guy you ordered it from, it seems only natural to wonder if you missed an e-mail or forgot to pay or something else happened. If it had been a store, you could just log into your account and check the order status and know right away. But here, while Mark was away, you don't know. And now that Mark is back, I'm sure everything will be handled.

.

As we get down to the last of the Magneto Statues people are worrying that maybe such and such retailer didn't get enough or the person that is getting it for them drove off a cliff, etc..etc... And I can relate, it is nerve racking being in the last batch....

Great to here dan :rock

Thanks :)

same here still waiting on my order from mark lol. Ah well we'll eventually get it so I'm not sweating it, already put the money away

View attachment 176221 Its been like this for five days now, kinda annoyed. Anyone else deal with international shipping, does it take a minute to get through customs?

I don't want to freak you out, but in my experience when it sits in customs like that (weeks), it's typically because the package was "lost". I've had this happen to me twice (statues both times) when it arrived at USPS customs in NYC. It was there for nearly a month. I called constantly, and they finally said they lost my package. I hate USPS

Usually express packages go right through. Although it wasn't an express package (might have been registered), I had an item mailed from the Phillipines. I waited for three weeks while it sat in customs. I went to my local post office to inquire about it. The post master was able to check the batch number and found that the entire container with about 20 packages was still sitting there uncleared. He said that happened occasionally and it was nothing to worry about. After a fourth week, it finally went through. Maybe it's the same situation with your package.

It seems that his package was shipped by sea that's why is taking so long, Usually takes about 7 business days by air.
