I don't see the reasoning for all these scale jumps in their lines. Up the quality, not the height. By next year they'll be even closer to 12' and costing $100+ at the minimum.

I think they were never happy with the old scale, i have a feeling they've settled on a scale they're happy with now. If it does reach 12 inches then they've lost the plot..

I think they've settled on one main scale recently, specifically the one that started from MGS1 and the Variants Kai DC figures (though they still tend to screw that up, making certain characters too tall like TPP Big Boss and AO Joker).

Anyone else PO'd Arkham Knight Batman? It looks surprisingly non-stylized for a PAK and I've decided to pick it up as a pseudo-New 52 Batman for my collection...

I'm loving their variants. Every character is buffed up to insane sizes. Two of those stormtroopers and Vader would be absolutely awesome.

As far as stylised PAKs go that Boba Fett looks pretty cool

And that Batman looks beast. Could quite possibly be the nicest looking PAK proto shown to date

There's a few quite mixed reactions to the Star Wars redesigns. I like it, they look very badass. Maybe it's because I'm not a huge Star Wars guy.

I was a huge Star Wars fan, and I think they're awesome renditions of characters that we've seen thousands of times already. Sadly I'm more biased towards Vader compared to Boba and the Stormtroopers, so I'm not as keen to pick these up. Still I think they look pretty great.

I don't understand the appeal in 'variants'. Some look cool designs just on their own, but they're not the actual character. They haven't been featured in anything. I don 't get what the appeal is.

AK Batman looks great, but, I don't dig the suit that much, it looks like a PAK variant in and of itself already.

The appeal is just that, a variant look of a character. Not much else to it. The problem with that idea is that with since the design wasn't featured in anything, if the design sucks, it's not going to sell. It's like some of the SDCC variants of figures like metallic paint jobs, only those use existing molds. I've honestly grown to not care for the variants anymore, I'm still trying to get rid of my Variant Batman but eBayers just keep 'watching' my listing and not bothering...
