Got my notice too. Can't wait!!!
Finally these are shipping. Hopefully mine arrive next Friday, but it probably wont be until Monday...
Way I look at it, mine will be charged this tuesday. SSC won't ship until Thursday or Friday. I then won't get them for a week. Still close to 2 weeks for me.

Right...according to Lucasfilm, by this time, the Imperial academy is the official armed force recruiter for the empire and thus the average joe is easily recruited and further indoctrinated by the empire....no need to pay someone to create so many clones, which is why the clone wars were named as such. During that time, they needed an instant army to create a false civil war to make way for Palpatine.
Is that why they couldn't shoot straight... cause they held their guns in their left hand??

So what's everyone's opinion on these selling out anytime soon. I wasn't expecting to see them so soon and won't be able to pick them up anytime soon. Are we gonna see these as gift card eligible and collecting a little dust or more than likely to sell out inn a couple months.
I feel like nothing sells out these days. I think you are age to wait a little.

I doubt Hot Toys will make the same mistake as Sideshow did and make these very limited. They're the footsoldiers after all. People want more than just one (or two).
I need at least 2. Though 6 would be ideal, displayed behind Lord Vader.

Two short, three tall for me. That's *almost* too much for my taste, but I think it represents a "swarm" nicely without going overboard. My fifth is en route. I may of course revisit this when the other likely troopers hit down the line (we know HT will probably want to cash in) ... but I'll worry about that when it happens.
If I was only doing single height troopers I'd stick with a group of three. I've put a lot of useless thought into my useless stormtroopers.

I switch the helmets out according to mood; plus the No Stripes variant is being carefully weathered right now. I won't be done for a while. Going for screen accuracy on that one.

Decided to go ahead with a payment plan preorder. Used luckymarch to save $20. Question for everyone/anyone: Can I pay off the balance early (at any time) if I want to? Can I use paypal to pay off the remaining balance when the payment plan is on a credit card (i.e. not through paypal)?
