Teflon tape would make your life a lot easier instead of sending it back. Making the arm more snug sounds like the easiest fix in the world.

I would of done that but the peg is a little shorter to wrap it than the spear hand peg.

Just picked up at the local comic shop. I paid slightly higher than standard price, but wanted to make sure I did an inspection onsite. She's awesome and looks like she's ready to take on any character in GoT or Spartacus!

Wow she looks perfect. The face is spot on. Congrats! But more costs for a reg? How is that possible? Is it a LCS that jacked up the prices?

You can expect to pay more like $50 -$100 in any of your local comic shops cause they're looking to make a great profit.

Crazy isn't it costing more than a PO from SS still in stock. but yes I've seen quite a few lcs do the same.

Wow no doubt, you got a really nice regular 1. What kind of camera are you using? Name and model #? They are absolutely clear and stunning pictures.

Buy her totally worth it. Just about all statues will be hollow now. So unless you quit collecting this won't change. She is the best SS statue ever made in my opinion. The sculpter killed this. The bar is now set so high I don't know when another one will top this. I want to see Steve try to sculpt another female better than this. He has now set the bar too high for himself. Lol aside from so many QC issues saying if you get a good one. It's totally worth it.

Thanks, man. When I pulled her out, I examined her paint job and I almost did a back-flip. And when I looked at the base and all the accessories before assembling it, I almost did a double back flip. But when attaching the axe arm, I was oh NO, this isn't staying on. I was crushed like a child with a broken toy. LOL.

Hey man sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday, work got in the way. I was thinking about the problem and while the board members have some great ideas, it seems to me if you're trading out parts consistently this will probably happen on all of them. So, depending on how brave you are and how much knowledge you have you could probably cut the post off and gently shave the stump down about a 1/4 an inch superglue a slim magnet in the arm hole and a piece of stainless steel to the arm peg and I think, if done right, it would solve the problem forever. But you'd have to make exact measurements for the fitting and how much to shave off, too much and there wouldd be a gap and the piece would be ruined.

Koto's Fine Art Statues and all of XM statues are solid.... Not 100% sure but I believe some of Gentle Giants statues are also solid... I know the Movie versions of Black Widow and the 300 statues are pretty hefty

Thanks for the comment! I'm using a Canon Rebel T3i DLSR camera. The room I shot this piece in has massive windows, so I was able to get very nice lighting.

Thanks for the info on your camera. That is a really great camera. Your pictures are so crystal clear. I'm gonna go to Costco if they carry that model.

Idk if it's me but I feel her head is a little to small and a little more boxy, but this is just what I see when I look at her!!
