This statue is so nice! Have not seen one this good ever in terms of presence and sculpt. Only problem is the many QC issues. I have a few very minor paint blotches on her face but I'm so much more worried about not getting a better replacement since it's the body. After one try its sorry no more will be better normally. So I'm just going to keep mine because this is the best looking SS statue ever sculpted in my opinion. This is insanely good and the tall base works out great for me since I dispaly my statues in the open. I still need a replacement shield only. I will suck up the rest of the issues only because I must own this. The EX axe turn out WAY better than the shield in person in my opinion. Sad to say we have to suck up some of the issues but to me this is how great this statue is. If it was another character I would return it in a heartbeat. I will check mine again just to be sure. It will scare me to death if I had to return the body hoping a better one will arrive. Btw my number was like 1700 or so. Not sure if the some number early / later runs started out better or what?

Really wish the shield was more like Cap Allied Charge. That shield is a true beauty.

wah, wah, and wah!!!

SSC restricted from pickup so Mr. Green had to call customer service so they can call UPS to hold for pickup. guess this would've prevented delivery man from dropping it on the neightbors house. but now its close to pickup, is open tomorrow and from a different place, 1 hour away.

Was kind of afraid to open mine today after looking through the thread. Luckily mine is really nice and I do not see any issues. Pretty happy overall.

Great collection but I think WW and the purple guy wants to roam free they need to be on the top with the full weapons attach!

mine came out damn near pristine. I thought I was home free till I noticed an unacceptable paint rub on her hair hat. hope sideshow will replace it. check it out.

I just got mine today. After inspecting the statue, I noticed the following issues:

1) Spear was broken and not straight.
2) Wonder Woman's foot does not fit on her base.
3) Sloppy paint job on one of the stars.
4) Black paint spot on the front of the base that looks like a hole from afar.
5) Dark mark on her left arm close to the elbow.

I asked Sideshow to send me a replacement spear and partial refund so I can use the money to pay someone to fix the other issues. I don't want to risk asking for a replacement body and base only to find out that there were more issues. Luckily, the axe and shield hands fit perfectly. I've heard that one collector could not remove the shield hand because it fit in too tightly but it wasn't an issue for me.

I have to warn other collectors that the hair on my statue was very difficult to remove once you put it on. You might want to lubricate the peg before inserting the hair on the head.

It's a beautiful statue and it's unfortunate that the quality control was extremely lacking. Sideshow could have hit a home run if the quality control was tight.

I'll see how Sideshow responds to my requests.

and the fun continues. although we (the various sites and fb) are a small portion of the collecting community, I remain amazed at the number of flawed/damaged pieces there are. This has got to be the biggest qc failure in recent memory.

Holy ****. SS is getting bombed with replacement requests. Hopefully they've got enough to go around. I was actually surprised that they ok'd my replacement with no hassle--though I'm still worried about what kind of shape the replacement is going to arrive in.

On the one hand it may be good that they get a lot of complaints as it may force them to tighten up their quality control. On the other hand, some of these complaints are overblown, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, there are some very legitimate complaints on here but some of there are such minor issues that wouldn't even be noticeable unless looking extremely closely at the statue in direct light. I understand that these are expensive statues, but the quality that some people are looking for would only be available on much more expensive statues with a much lower edition size.

Received my #2704 and it's perfect in almost every way, except for the shield painting has a small dot on it but I'm not worry about it so finally own this beautiful missing piece for the Trinity. Here are the phone shots.

of all of the statue SS has produced over the past 3 to 4 years, what would you say has been worse from a qc perspective? I guess an argument could be made for apoc or spiderwoman?

And I agree, there are lots of good ones (heck I got one too except for a minor issue with the hair) BUT, there is a disproportionate number of bad ones compared to anything else SS is shipping out. Despite us being a small minority, I can click on any other thread (keaton batman, the hulks, superman, and even sinestro to name a few) and I will not see anything close to what is going on here...

Worst QC by far ever is spider woman and psylocke with the cracking a year later when the 30 period is long gone. my spider woman's base is now warp after a year so I'm screwed on the base. Any ideas on how to unwrap her base? WW is such a awesome statue. Don't know how the QC can go like this. This needs to be address if SS plans to keep buyers coming back. I'm sure they have the money to do it. Hopefully they learn to improve on this problem for future statues. I admit they did learn to make the female hair strands in a bendy material to avoid cracking such as the ms marvel statues which mine broke in shipping. So that was great.

Those statues didn't have 9000 made, so odds are the QC issues will be higher with WW (maybe not percentage wise but number wise).... I know Supes has a similar Edition Size as WW but 90% of that statue is covered in cloth so it's easier to hide any issues with the statue vs a 100% painted one...

I recieved my WW Exclusive today and fortunately it was almost perfect. My only complaint would be that the cloth hanging from the spear is so close to the body that it almost makes it impossible to install the shield arm. You have to literally bend back the cloth to install the shield and let the cloth rest against the shield.

I'm a new collector and this is only my second piece. The first was the Catwoman Exclusive. It also arrived perfect. I don't know if I'm having beginners luck with the quality or not, but I just though I would jump in and say at least my first two purchases from SS have been good in good condition.

I would add one thing though. With the way the spear was packaged in the PF WW, I don't see how any of the spears made it through shipping in one piece.
