Hot Toys – MMS255 – Guardians of the Galaxy: 1/6th scale Star-Lord Collectible Figure

I got my new Star-Lord fig this morning. Love him. He's awesome. My issue is one of the following: I'm either a huge idiot who is being outsmarted by a tiny piece of pleather or my figure's backpack strap is broken. I've been playing with it for a while and for the life of me can't figure out how the heck to get it to go together. Any ideas from you other fine folks who have it? Be honest. If I'm an idiot, I deserve to be told so. View attachment 171740

I don't think that strap is supposed to be detached. Mine arrived attached but is missing the buckle. From looking at the instructions I think that strap wraps around his waist and the small piece of leather on the edge of the pouch snaps around the buckle. I left Sideshow a message requesting a replacement.

Mine comes tomorrow. Both heads look great, still no idea which one I will use for display. Probably will eventually end up buying two like with those damn terminators

Looks like the exclusive version I ordered will arrive this week... I'm not sure whether to be excited or bummed. With all the Ultron figures coming out I am debating whether to collect the Guardians figures or not, especially since Drax was never put up for pre-order. People have been speculating on the other thread if he ever will be or not, maybe reworked from the first prototype, or possibly end up as a summer exclusive. I may hold off opening it and just wait for now.

I feel the exact same way. If gotg2 adds a nova then that would be a 4th but as is just the three for me.

Nice, mostly interested to see how Rocket turns out, I feel Groot looks pretty good as is, assuming it comes out looking like the prototype.

Ronin is a term used to describe former samurai. It is also the name of a Marvel character, who's actual identity(in one iteration) is Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye from the Avengers
