Wow. No wonder a lot of manufacturers take one look at these fan boards and run away screaming. Nothing they do can ever be good enough.

Are these forums supposed to serve as nothing more than a place for people to talk about how wonderful every upcoming release is? I don't see why expressing a little disappointment should be met with that kind of remark, and frankly I would hope that if manufacturers do visit sites like this, it's not to get their egos stroked, but rather to find out what the fans actually want, so they can improve their products.

Hmmm... that facehugger looks a bit stylized to me... but it's way too soon to have an opinion, let's wait and see what it really looks like.

You guys do realize that the head sculpt HT is showing us is just a really well painted Palisades Fachugger/Victim bust right?

I've taken this pic of mine in about the same position as the HT one.

You can see that the Facehugger is the same and the hair is the same.

This is probably not the actual sculpt we'll be getting. Unless they have the rights to Palisades' sculpt.

OMG, I just posted this on the other thread before I saw yours.

This means the HS aren't completed/approved yet as the prod listing suggests. So, we may not even see them until the product page is updated and that may be at least a month away...

Yes, the sculpts are different, but a little too similar to be coincidence.

My picture isn't positioned exactly like the HT pic and the curve of the visor is throwing the image off.

It wouldn't surprise me if this whole thing was Photoshopped.

I agree. I think they're the same sculpt, but even if the ear is slightly different, what difference does it make? They're still using the Palisades sculpt.

Same, at least 90% same which is the same, look at the FH fingers, the dude's hairline, hairsculpt,etc. Same same same. Please...

I think if you superimposed the two images over each other they'd mach up almost exactly.

I reckon it's a good sign that the two heads, faced hugged, look similar. That means both companies are getting it right or close, doesn't it?
