Most of the (new) ones available now are on eBay - internationally. Exchange rate, inflated scalper price, etc..

Haven't looked lately, but.. ehh. I'll find one eventually.

HT Blade. Yep, should have picked one up.

And that Ghost Rider is outstanding...that's one I'm very glad I didn't pass on.

These two. But I was happy to have been able to score them a couple of years later. Mime Joker I just got back in October. Bank Robber Joker I got but not with the original head sculpt. Which I found for a reasonable price.

I was looking through some of my old paypal receipts the other day from back in the $1.10 days. Sad reading.

Don't think I have any that I regret passing on.

There were things that I used to regret passing on, like Hot Toys Blade, but after all the cut-backs I made I'd probably have sold the likes of him anyway so now I don't care.

I used to regret passing on Blade and IM Mk I, and at one point I was going to make an aftermarket buy on both of them. Then Mk I 2.0 came out for a third the aftermarket price and I decided I'd pass on it, which made me question how much I actually wanted Blade as well. Turns out, not much. Some figures are better imagined than they are in hand.

Forever and always, every time one of these threads pops up, my answer never changes. Had it on pre order, had to cancel for financial reasons :(

Tell me about it man.

Remember right before Case Fresh folded? They were throwing things out the door; HT Bespin Luke at $245, the 2.0 HT Mk1 I.M for $199, HT Redskull for $165, HT Amber for $150.

Yes, I still remember those exact prices.. :lol

:(

Has to be HT Ezio, always the wrong time when it comes along. After a trip to venice last week its a reminder how amazing the AC2 games are.

I still kick myself when I think of how long he was on Sideshow for $150, but I was just getting into it back then and that was still a lot of money for a beginner. I know there are knock-offs now, but there's something so amazing about that release that I'd rather not have anything than a cheap imitation. I don't let the prices deter me, though. I've got a finite list of items that I want my collection to consist of, and, at the end of that list, is the Don. It may take me a long while to reach that point, but, unless HT revisits him with an equally impressive 2.0, one way or another, I will nab him.

2 figures spring to mind.

1st T-600 Endoskeleton (Rubber Mask)

2nd King Leonidas

These two spring to mind because I was very close to buying both figs a few years ago and never did and now both figures are 3 or 4 times more expensive. :gah:

About King Leo - one of the most boring figures I've ever owned. Beautiful no doubt, but fear of stressing the joints on the rubber body makes this a neutral pose only figure.

Honestly can't think of anything....
For better or worse (mostly worse), I tracked down pieces I really wanted and missed out on at initial order time.
Most of those have long since been sold off again anyway....

And since quality keeps dramatically rising, older pieces can really show their age.

Don Corleone is my no. 1 want at the moment. I wasn't in the hobby back when he came out, a fact that I mourn all the time :(
