i'm currently thinking of getting the Snake w/ croc cap, but if this one comes w/ a younger version head (heard it might) then i'll probably get MGS4.

Konami has a 360* degree pictures and I was really impressed with it so I am adding this to my get-list.I am not a fan of the "old" Snake head but if they make a young version I'll definitely be after that as well.

I like the previous versions better. dunno why im not so crazy over this one.

Found these.

So are they using a muscular/rubber body like Hot Toys, or is that just some kind of rubber skin over a normal body? Looks pretty cool either way.

its a rubber skin/suit over a modified RAH 301 body. supposely the joints are beefed up with metal to handle the extra stress. the draw back on this is that the hands are part of the rubber suit, so there are no extra hands to change, total bummer.

That's not the worst thing about the hands/wrists...there are NO wrist joints, so articulation there at all.

Lets take it a step back and demand a MGS1 Solid Snake... That was DEFINITELY the best version of the costume.

I prefer the MGS2 Solid Snake as the best version in my opinion.

You can see the plastic tears of the hips of Old Snake... :monkey2 :monkey4

Damn it...Medicom fudged up with this one...

Wow, handn't noticed the tearing or fixed hands. That really does suck... oh well I guess they can't all be winners.

Yeah I know. :monkey2

I don't mind the fixed hands...but those tears are unacceptable in my opinion. This is one thing that Medicom fails on terribly. They have the worse quality control on their figure outfit designs of the "Big 3". Companies like Hot Toys would've found a way to work around it (perhaps use another material) and Sideshow...well...I dunno...they're just doing their first armored figure afterall. :D
