That is exactly what I did and it wasn't that hard at all. Just be careful where you cut. The fat suit is very thick.

Yes I know man, it's my mod, I was the first one to post it here ;) I remember just cutting away hoping I don't cut the wrong areas, it was trial and error.

I discovered an easier way to do it now. :slap

is cutting to fat suit better or the rubber band method that you did?
Thanks

Maybe a combination of both, I am thinking of cutting a certain section so the chest will bulge out more, it really bothers me that I can't bulk that up. The Rubber band method is the best way to get the V shape whilst making sure the figure looks big overall. However, cutting out the lower section is probably the best way to make the chest stand out more, and you still obtain a natural torso shape.

Before and after comparison pictures would help. I honestly can't tell a difference when these mods are shown with nothing to compare to. Mine will be here tomorrow, I want to see if it's worth doing.

Hope someone like chandrill can help you out because I can't show before and after just after as far as the torso is concerned. Only thing I can show you is pictures of how it looks stock then how it looks after modded, which I did on the previous page.

I saw. I guess what I mean is a comparison in the same pose, angle, etc. Maybe it'll be clearer when I have it in hand.

I was one that thought that I would not mod the figure that I would leave it be but once I took him out of the box I thought to myself WTF is this lol!!! The arms would not go down like a normal person an he looked so wrong. I think that the rubber band method would still hinder articulation and maybe more since you are compressing the abs even more.

I left the crotch section so the pants would not look so baggie on his ass and removing the mid section gave more articulation to the abs and a bit more to the arms.

You can try the rubber band method first and if you decide that's not enough you can cut the mid section or remove the fat suit if you want. But once you take him out of the box I am pretty sure you will want to mod him :)

Mine is out for delivery. Think I may have to leave work a little early now. LOL. Cant wait.

I for one like the fat suit mod, I don't miss it at all. Besides the extra bit of articulation is a plus for me. But that's just me

Whatever the case, the fat suit was a waste of an idea IMO

Don't get me wrong I love the complete set and the his civi's gear is off the hook, but I can't help it. This look is my favorite! :wink1:

Quick pics.

I caved and ordered it from a store I go to. I'll cancel my stealth suit only order and put the money I had in it to Star Lord.

I got my set and am very happy with it. These are two great looking figures. After reading all the comments on the padded suit underneath I had planned to remove mine but seeing it in person changed my mind. I think it looks great as is. I'm not sure what the complaints are about.
