body sculpt is nice, I would just had one portrait repainted, but the broken cat and cheap base killed it completely. mediocre piece, im sure some people will like it but the paint is not where it should be IMO.

The cat is probably easily replaceable, the base however, if thats not up to your standard then it sounds like the return is your only option

Thanks for the pics Rulk and your honest assessment...I can live with everything except those damn eyes. Ugh. Her facial expression in the con pics is perfect...that was definitely not a production piece shown there. Why even tell us it is, when it's clearly not?

I don't know, I just remember people asking and someone said it was a production piece. Maybe it could have even been someone at the con.

I know that the WW recently shown was a supposed production piece as well...

Just got a reply back from SS, they're going to "" investigate their replacement stock to see if they have an acceptable exchange for me. "" ....... If their replacement stock portraits are no better then what I got, yikes !!!!!

I believe SSC announced that the zipper would be unmovable... After those pics from japan with the mega cleavage were shown SSC made that announcement.

Aaaand there you go. Looks great in these blown up macro shots. I'm very happy with that.

I bought the Lifesize Neytiri bust from Sideshow, spent all that money and they sent me one with unpainted beads on her left side. Shortly after, they sold out of them. So now i'm stuck with a huge unfinished piece. I'll never buy a Sideshow statue ever again.

Rulk, I have to say that the base looks exactly like it does in the proto with your pics minus the different lighting. I actually think she overall looks great in your pics.

Yikes Rulk, your portrait looks as bad as mine.... Seems like all the portraits are going to range from little bad to really bad... I think whats messing it up is SS is trying to put that pink on the eyeball which forces the right eye to move towards the center. I'm not sure why they are even trying to put pink paint on the eyeball makes no sense unless they're trying to giver her pink eye. From what I can tell from SDCC and SS Promotional pictures there is no pink on the prototypes eyeball..

Yea, just like with anything, it comes down to how much you need catwoman in your collection and what you're willing to overlook. If I feel the same way Rulk does when I get it, I'll just go for the full refund. Even "slightly better" googly eyes is not acceptable to me for $400+. I am not spending more money for a repaint either. Rulk's pics look decent but still not great...and we should get great bottom line.

I cant do it from my tablet, but someone should put the Con ("production") portrait and Rulks portrait (best so far) together and ask Alex to comment on QC and difference.

They were trying to accentuate the caruncle, they just took it a little too far because it's not that big to begin with.

Not bad enough to deal with mediocrity. There will be another 1/4 Catwoman so I can wait, and there's other places for this money to go right now rather than accepting "good enough". I do hope she arrives looking fantastic though, don't get me wrong.

So if you ship it back for full refund do they refund shipment to and fro or we have to take the tab. I am wondering if I was better off canceling and losing the nrd or just shipping back for full refund
