If HKD price is equal to$380 in USD, Sideshow marking this up to $450-480 would be an okay price, especially if loaded with lots of accessories. QS001 Batman was $465, with 2 cowled heads and one Bruce Wayne sculpt, along with a good load-out. But that was more than 2 years ago.

I will say that 1/4 Boba Fett is a surprise. I expected the next 1/4 to be Iron Man. Or maybe talking Star Wars, Darth Vader. I don't think Boba Fett has that many accessories. But Hot Toys has to make a Jedi Luke 1/4 with that base that Boba Fett comes with. I don't see how they can't. Although I would prefer 1/6 to go with a speederbike.

I hope we get an idea of what Hot Toys has in mind for the 1/4 line. If they are just popular choices. Or there is more to it. As so far it seems like popular choices. Terminator, Dark Knight Batman, and Boba Fett. I guess no Iron Man for now because there really isn't a choice for a definitive 1/4 version.

I still prefer sideshow's 1/4 boba premium format, any day.

I like that one too. And Hot Toys in theory shouldn't have much of an edge over Sideshow on this one since it's an armored character. We'll see what happens when they are released.

The 1/4 scale figures are pretty neat, but they still feel like a gimmick to me. Like in Super Mario 3, where in one level everything is much larger than usual. Cool novelty in small doses, but you wouldn't want a whole game like that. I'll also be waiting for a 1/6 scale figure.

No chance this is less than 600 bucks.

I initially thought it'd be closer to $600 as well, but that seems high. I'll go with $550, NOT including shipping.

We'll likely get a Vader in 1/4. Maybe a Han and/or a Luke as well, a Stormtrooper...or maybe a big, ol' shiny, diecast 3PO for a cool thou.

They look like they'd be pretty unwieldy, especially if you have several of them. They only make sense if you're gaga over a particular character.

That's not Bulloch dude. HT probably did base their Fett on the pudgy ILM nerd who played him in the 97 SE.

Bulloch and stuntman Dickey Beer were both lean guys.

Overall, the only thing that has impressed me about all this Hot Toys Star Wars hoopla is the ambitious fur effort on Chewbacca and I, guess the Stormtrooper (slim/tall)? I dunno. Boba is meh.
