Same, they better release him, watched the movie again today and he's awesome, his lines are great, and I was so shocked because going in I did not expect to like him, really want him and to complete the full team.

Yeah Drax was very underrated...as a character on the film I think he was awesome...his lines delivered too many laughs...lol I'd take Groot, Rocket, Drax, Quill and last Gamora as standout film characters...Groot IMO was the best for me

Yeah Rocket and Groot were great together, while both are great stand alone characters/figures, you have to have them both!

Maybe this is a marketing strategy by Hot Toys. Make us wait and wait and wait & just when we lose hope of him coming they release the pics & he's up for pre-order the same day and everyone rushes to pre-order him.

One thing I was put off buy is the fact that Drax was way underestimated he should have been able to kick Ronan's arse and sweep the floor with him. My word the guy was engineered to take out thanos and he didn't even scratch Ronan pre infinity stone.......something is wrong with that canon of marvel universe.

That's actually one of my irks with MCU Drax, they nerfed him REALLY hard. Just like Thor.

They underpowered everyone so far.... maybe it has something to do with making the characters more grounded and believable

If anyone wants to see the dangers of overpowered characters, watch Man of Steel. Once you see someone punched through their 90th skyscraper without so much as a cut lip to show the damage, the charm and allure of watching the insanely superpowered begins to lose its luster.

Makes sense to me and I agree with the Superman comment above. The audience need to care about the characters. It's harder to care if you know they're indestructible.

I was going to stay clear of this line but after seeing the Videos i had to get this figure,yes the sculpt is not spot on but i can live with that as the rest looks amazing. Barring any customs problems he should arrive later this week

This figure won't be released until January.
as soon as its despatched... it will arrive 3-4 days later via FedEx usually.....

You also get a letter later from FedEx about import charges. If your not a fan of getting those letters or charges you can buy from some good UK retailers like Collectibles Direct, OneSixthBruce or TOYHQ

Thanks I've mostly been ordering from CDUK and Zavvi but this is my first import (for the ex). I've factored 24.7% into the cost for customs but is a Fedex charge additional to that?
