Its ********, did HT's even play around with it to see if it works? :lol

Why don't you guys buy some blue tac or whatever or just glue that hand in place so the fingers don't move? I thought you guys would have had a solution instead of waiting for someone else to charge a arm and a leg for a custom hand.

Blu Tack is one solution for keeping the gun in place. But maybe some people here don't like the way the articulated hand looks as a gun-holding hand and would have preferred a sculpted one? :dunno

Exactly. Even with glue or whatever, it looks bad. It doesn't look natural. A gun should be held by a sculpted hand period. Why can Neca and EB offer that but not HT?

What is the purpose of an articulated hand with Robocop anyway?

Yep, that too. I think one person got it to work, although I'm not sure how. The joints are pretty tight, so it stands on its own just fine, but the ankles may weaken over time.

Hot Toys wouldn't make the same mistake twice. I mean when have they ever done that?

I am kind of hoping they pull another "Elder Predator 2.0 head sculpt switch". They appeared to have heard peoples concerns and changed the appearance. At the end of the day it is $300. HT should be listening. For those who have the Regular and are also getting the BD, do you want to go through the hand process again?

I am pretty sure that HT is making good profit out of the BD release. Should be some cushion in the budget to address the hand issue.

Yeah but then there should have been a cushion somewhere in the 8 years between the first ED-209 and second to correct the Dome issue so......

You split the legs and slide it up in between the gaps and close the legs on it after that. If that makes sense.

This is true, like to have Robocop give the middle finger? Or to point? I'm surprised each little joint doesn't break upon posing it to hold the gun.

Thanks. I'm keeping Robo in the box for now. I thought the stands leave marks or indentations on the figure's thighs, don't they?

Yeah that's going to be a pain to set up, maybe like tape some tissue under his feet the way the tape the plastic around his arms and head? and then slide them off when you got the pose you want so like tissue little socks or something.
