Best of luck on your replacement! I emailed SS this weekend with some pics of the defects on mine. I'll be shocked if they offer anything more than a bit of credit, if they even do that.

Hmmmm . . . . then you'll be able to apply $60 from this AND $60 from the P2 maquette to the peice after that.

Eventually you'll get a completely free "something" that you then have to return (do YOU owe THEM when that happens?)

You get the credits back on your card when you return an item you applied credit to. I would be very upset if you lost the credit, so I was glad to see that is how they do it when it happened to me once. Also, I expect ~$120 for those who get bad P2s, they are pretty good about sticking to a meager 10%.

Geez, squeaky wheel indeed! Of course, it's great you were able to get a replacement, and I hope it looks great for you, but that's QUITE the compensation on their part if that's how it comes through. Good on them for that -- which I'm sure is a rare case, and likely only in serious international cases. I'd be frustrated too if I lost all the extra charges ($60+) that it costs just to come to Canada, but looks like they made it right for ya.

And Hot Toys are fantastic. If you haven't begun collecting them, you should definitely jump on board. Especially with your setup you posted earlier...some Hot Toys Preds and upcoming Ripley would fit in nicely!

Been 5 days since they received my bust for replacement and still haven't sent me any notice on when it'll ship out to me. I called them a few minutes ago and was told they are still in the process of inspecting replacements for me. Hopefully this means I'm getting a good one. I have to wonder how many EX's are left for them to go through to find my replacement.

Michael is pretty cool. After I enquired about the P2 Bust with open mandibles he emailed me months later to let me know it was up for pre-order.
Also he put a Sideshow Keychain in with my Red Sonja.
I actually emailed him to say thanks for the Keychain and let him know how happy I was with RS.
He must read negative emails day in day out so that positive message must of been a shock

Hope the BC is in better condition

Got my RMA from Sideshow. I didn't even bother requesting a replacement, as I didn't want one due to how bad this turned out (even without QC issues). I simply asked for a refund. This is probably my biggest disappointment since starting this hobby, and it's left a real sour taste in my mouth in regards to Sideshow products. I will now be selling my Warrior EX, as I don't want it if I can't have this as well.

Sideshow want me to the destroy the piece and send them pics for the refund, so if the dome is not a complete b@stard to remove, I will try remove it and take pics (unless someone has uploaded pics of the bare skull already).
