I love the unmasked Avengers head on my TFA Cap (since he's basically still 1940's Steve at that point), but that looks pretty nice. There was another comment about the head looking a bit big, and I saw you said it looks fine, so I'm glad to hear that.

Still, on a separate note, I've been wondering if HT is just making their heads bigger lately. Winter Soldier and Cap have had padded bodies, and if the underlying bodies are any indication, they don't really need to be padded to be any larger. The only explanation I could think of was that the heads might be getting bigger, which meant they needed to adjust the proportions on the bodies to look "normal". It's just confusing me why they've been using any padded bodies lately.

But back to the photo- I love seeing TFA Cap with the rest of the Avengers! :clap

LOL this thread is cracking me up with all of the head swaps. Someone just needs to make one huge image that is every Cap body with every Cap head possible. :lecture

Unless I forgot something, there are 7 Cap figures (TFA, Rescue, SSM, Avengers, GA, Stealth, and Steve Rogers) and 9 head options (1 for each except Avengers, which has 2 heads, and Rescue, which has a removable helmet), so that makes a grand total of 63 different head/body combinations. (That's not even counting all the knockoff head sculpts, as that would push it closer to 100) Thankfully, Hot Toys has graced us with 10 of them in their promo shots, which only leaves 53 more to go!

I've only been perusing this thread as I've got another month before my set arrives. I've seen some attempts but nothing concrete as to get a little better "V" shape out of Strike Suit Cap. Is this even possible?

Need to see GA Cap with that Rogers head! Someone please do it. :)

Blogger photo is cool but I'd like to see one in natural light

I didn't even hear what you just said. I'm just sitting here watching your signature GIF....

But why was it some huge secret in the first place? Why give hints and not just fully articulate what you're talking about or better yet, post the pic?

It's not that I'm too lazy to search for the picture (though I am lazy), but it would've been much shorter to just say "pose with his hands on his belt buckle like in some promo pics for TWS and Avengers 2" instead of something like "I'm sure people know what pose I'm talking about. Cap is posed like that in almost all the movies I think." There were hints, but it didn't need to be so ambiguous in your description.

That said, although it's not something I'd use in my collection, it is a wonderful Cap pose.

Because typing "cap with his hands on his belt" would have been too difficult. lol

Well simply I wanted to be first. I didn't go through all the Captain America threads, but I've never seen anyone attempt the pose. I did think the pose was fairly obvious. I mean it seems to be a signature pose. Just a few examples.

Perhaps Hot Toys or some customizer will come out with the correct hand sculpt one day.

I dont know if its the angles but the head looks way to big on the Avengers Cap body.

I think it's funny how people blast Stealth Cap for looking skinny when Avengers Cap figure looks far skinnier. Still looks cool with the Rogers head but he needs some pecs.

Probably because people prefer the strike outfit the best and thus, they pay more attention to the flaws of it, as opposed to Avengers Cap, where not as many people are/were interested in buying that one. :dunno

Also the outfit appears tighter on the Avengers cap, whereas the strike suit one looks baggy and not tailored as well, thus making him look skinny because he is wearing clothes too big for him.
