No. They took their company limited at the beginning of the year so their personal assets couldn't be seized.
They likely knew this was coming for a long time as they hadn't made any orders from their distributors since october.
I have tried my bank who say they paid my money to Paypal.
I tried Paypal, who said it was outside the 45 day limit, so no.
I have taken my case to the financial ombudsman.
But i am waiting to hear back.

Well i don't think it's enough to do that to her, for goodness sake.

not meaning you would but Ive been reading a number of people who lost TONS to them, one guy bought 15 HT's pieces (though I think he got some back)

I ordered through a company of scamsters here in the UK. They were taking full payment up front(Through paypal), and having major delays(It later turned out they hadn't ordered any of the merchandise from the distributer), and they were just stringing us all along until the 45 day paypal expiry date so we wouldn't be able to get a refund.
These are lessons you learn i suppose.

Yeah, I can understand how that would be enticing. Similar to the too good to be true eBay scams we see every now and then.

Even if i got my money back, i'd likely spend it on something else.

I like my HoA but if I had prepaid for it and gotten ripped off I don't know if I'd turn around and spend the money on it again. So many things have been released since it came out that I would probably rather get a few figures instead. Eventually there will be opportunities to get a HoA cheaper anyway--it's still available and will be for a long time.

Yeah. At this stage, i'd probably just make one myself, lol.
Four master patterns and resin castings of the patterns would be all i'd need.
Maybe one day.

I got this version and the regular version headed my way. I'm looking forward to seeing them in person. Now I'm just trying to decide if I REALLY want the WM mark II (diecast) or not. I'm definitely getting Iron Patriot though.

I just received this guy in the mail today. I needed a War Machine in my collection, and I'm not too fond of the diecast Mk II. I like the bulky look of the Mk I over the more streamlined look. Later tonight I'll be unboxing him and placing him on the Iron Man shelf.

You're in for a treat. I have both WM Special Version and Mark II and have to say I really love both designs (though the original is no doubt the stronger of the two). I'd be happy if HT re-releases it in diecast, just so I can get the gun metal version.
