After all these years, I finally have a worthy display case for my monsters. I purchased these fellas from a member here a few years ago, and have had them stored ever since. I'm that type of person that would rather keep something stored if I don't have, what I feel, is a good way to display it.

I found this AMAZING cabinet on Craigslist that was built back in the 40s or 50s. All original finish, glass and hardware. And when I saw it, I knew right then it was meant for the Monsters. I've almost got the display complete, there's a little lighting work that needs to be done and a little more drapery to be added on the sides.

I was actually a little hesitant to post the pictures because my phone didn't take the quality photos these figures deserve. THAT must be why my wife refers to the "miss you" photos I send her when I'm out of town as "a turn off".:cuckoo:

Wow man what a Beautiful Collection and that cabinet is perfect! I love the black fabric around the display. Adds to the Classic look! Amazing Collection! Thanks for sharing! :clap :rock

Thanks man. The rest of the room has a ways to go, I've got more Monsters stuff to add, and had considered putting it all in the cabinet, but didn't want it looking cluttered. Those are my favorite pieces and wanted to have some space around each one.

When I first saw pictures of the cabinet, I was thinking about refinishing it. Once I saw it in person, I knew that would be a huge mistake. Even the glass is cool, it has waves in it which really adds to the antique/classic/pants tightening feel.

Definitely when you can post more of your Monster Collection. Yeah the cabinet looks too cool. Huge score right there. I would of loved to own that thing.

These Silver Screen collections are awesome. I always bought the color PFs but wish I had more space and had the chance to get into Silver Screen. Wicked displays. Thanks guys for all the wonderful posts. Really enjoying Spook this year. :)

I agree with you mistermark. Spook is great this year! I saw on Sideshow that they put up for order the Moebius Models Bride of Frankenstein Polystone Statue. I recall it being a Model Kit. Now it's a prepainted Statue. Price is $329.99. I'm tempted by it but the price seems a bit high for a 10 inch statue. it may be bigger in hands though. Love the sculpting on it! anyone else going to pick it up? Comes out in March of next year. Very tempted.

I thought about it, but I've been eyeballing a couple pieces by Factory Entertainment. And they're having a sale too....

Factory Entertainment has some nice pieces. The Wolfman Cane and Frankenstein Bust I have been eyeballing. Probably get the Cane for Christmas and the Bust I'm still not sure if it's even worth the price.

I already have the PF set as you know but if I didn't, I would pick up the Moebius Bride of Frank statue as a nice pop culture piece. It looks great seeing it being professionally painted and sold as a statue. Nice to see some new Uni monster pieces finally on Sideshow's site. And wow, this thread got lots of love this year. Just goes to show how timeless and classic the Uni Monsters still are. :clap

Yep no need for you to own it but it looks like a cool piece. I'm still debating if I want to get it or not. I know I probably will. Yep this thread is a hit! Glad it's getting tons of love! The Classics live on forever! :rock

Happy Halloween all! Here's some pics I took of my Sideshow Frankenstein! Colored version! Still on the hunt for the Silver Screen Edition. I customized it a little bit. I changed the coat since the green didn't seem accurate to me. I bulked and weathered him up and bingo! Looks so much better! Enjoy and Happy Halloween all! :rock:frank

Awesome ApeMan! Another fantastic piece and still holds up to this day. :) This has been such a great Spook. Wish it could last all month.

Mydnyghte very nice collection and that display case is awesome!

Thanks! I was completely blown away by it. The crazy thing too was the guy selling it had just gotten back from SDCC and makes superhero rings as a side job, one of which he made for Stan Lee. Very cool guy. He bought the case from a movie theatre that had closed up and was selling it's furniture. It was found back in storage, squirelled away from everything else. After getting it home, and trying to figure out what to do for a back drop, I decided to make it look like an old theatre. It just made sense for some reason.....

WOW. That is one heck of an improvement. I've got this fella too, but that was always my issue with it; it looks too much like a doll. Way to give this guy justice!

awesome pics everyone!
mistermark& Ryan, I saw the kit at BBTS the other day & Im tempted as well, but the price is a bit high,, not sure yet

Thanks guys! Definitely was an improvement! Still tempted by the Moibeus Statue but the price is putting me off for the size.
