Got my T-800 today and I think he looks really good...especially with the sunglasses on. I'm not a big fan of the 40 second timer on the LED though....

I'm giving serious thought to not getting this figure. As much as the head sculpts are ok (the BD one is awesome) I'm not liking the proportions as the head looks too big for the body, which itself is too small. If only the Tech Noir head sculpts were better I'd get that. As it is I'm afraid I may have to wait for the perfect T1 figure to go with my DX-13.

I just received my T800 T1 BD yesterday. Honestly, bought this only because the code hunt during spooktacular last year. This figure cost me only 160, so with all the people complaints, I was just gonna sell it once I received it. But I couldnt justify it cuz this was indeed my favorite terminator of all of the terminator movies. So I ended up opening it and dude, it blew me away. GREAT figure right out of the box, but of course with some mods, it could be better. I stuffed the neck a bit with cotton balls and stretched the tshirt a bit and yanked the leather jacket to get it a better fit and I must say, its really really an awesome piece. I would have been dumb to have cancelled or just sold it off without taking a peak. The head proportions arent that obvious especially if you stuff the neck and shoulders a bit. I still have my dx10, sold my dx13, and I think this guy is staying.

For people in doubt, Im super picky, but I think this is a fine fine figure. And in hand beats any photos or videos out there.

Congrats! A must have and a flat out shelf-stopper, sounds crazy for such a simple figure but just IS the essence of BADASS. The "Get Out" sculpt is a work of art (as many have alluded to) and will stand the test of time for years to come.

Can't wait to get mine from AE SOMETIME in the near future.

I think you summed it up perfectly, super simple figure in many ways but is a complete stand out on display. It just looks iconic.

yeah I think im done with terminator for now unless something really cool interest me. I got T1 look I want, T2,
T1000 and 1/4 endo.

Thanks man, I think these are the only ones I posted, a few WIP ones at the start. I chromed the head, put some new skin flaps on, resculpted a couple of hair sections, and did a repaint. Then finally sweated him up.

You know, we often see folks saying a figure looks better in hand, but I don't remember there ever being a figure where that wasn't just the opinion of some, but the consensus opinion. I'm getting more excited about this guy arriving, hopefully tonight.

Yeah the tech noir version is still awesome

It was a tough call to pass on BD MMS 238. In the end I picked up the stand (which I really liked) and used it for my Tech Noir.
