Yeah! I love that approach as well. Favorite game characters with real world take = win. I would kill for an Eva.
Siths look good with their hoods up and put in static menacing poses. So you'll be fine. I'd pose Malgus the same way. Although kinda with one arm out of his cape, holding the lightsaber. I can already see it. So badass.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. It would be funny if vader had a hood... lol. Hopefully I win that auction today and get maul. Then I'll have all of Palpatine's apprentices either on the way or on preorder ^_^

So many games require that treatment for me. But alas, no company would take on the job. Mass Effect, Devil May Cry, Silent Hill, and SW: Force Unleashed. I liked Starkiller's design.
Sweeeet. Then you just need an Anakin as well. Some of the customs I've seen are magnificent. Like this.

Good news! Malgus came today. Looks incredible!!! And I won the new in box exclusive maul for $76. Such a good deal.

Yeah! I don't think Hot Toys has enough time to handle all of that lol. Starkiller isn't too far fetched for sideshow though.

Congrats on the deal! Its an early Christmas for you. And I'm not sure where that Anakin came from, it was a very expensive custom though. Saw it on OSR on FB.
Sideshow could totally pull it off. Starkiller's hardest part to do would just be his headsculpt. They can pretty much nail the armor pieces and everything. Would instantly buy him.

I figured it was expensive. But after seeing Malgus, I have a lot of faith in SS. For Anakin Skywalker and Starkiller. I don't think Samuel Witwer's headsculpt would be too difficult for them. He has a unique setting of the mouth which might make the likeness easier for them. And the hair is very simple as well.

Like you said, it would be an instant buy. TFU was a really good part of the SW canon. TFU2 never happened lol.

Lol yeah. But SS effed up Uncharted Drake big time. Like Jesus repaint bad. I hope SS continues with the PT, games and Clone Wars. Since HT is already helming the OT.

I still want the Star Wars 1313 game.

But I agree. If HT is going straight OT, then SS can give me PT, force unleashed, and old republic. That should keep them busy for a few years haha.

Supposedly visceral is making a republic commandos game... Idk just a rumor I saw a while back.

1313 looked so promising. Finally, a game not dedicated to the force. And to the underworld smuggling ring. Sweet! And bam! Shot down. Broke my heart man. It was Uncharted-like. And it was awesome.

God damn. Republic Commandos reboot? Heeeeeell yessss. Someone made 1/6 customs a few years back iirc. Pretty awesome. Proper Delta Squad made by SS would be such an amazing display piece. Fuch.

So many more figures SS can revisit. Qui Gon, Dooku, Anakin, and Padme. I need me a Natalie Portman.

Haha tbh I'm more excited to see what SS is doing more than HT now that I know HT is pretty much OT only. There's so many possibilities.

The figure is decent. Sculpt is meh, suit and tailoring is pretty good. Would probably suffice if you have his hood up. HT and SS have really pampered me with their sculpts. So I really wont go for any other old figs with the old sculpts.

Hmm idk if the sculpt is too bad. It's more of the paint apps. Bury the sith version looks far improved from the Jedi one haha. And it's really just to tide me over until a new one is announced.

As a package it looks pretty good. But when you look at the headsculpt itself, it doesn't really look like Anakin. And if it's just a placeholder until they announce something new, it would do absolutely fine.

Got my paycheck today... So I bought it. Got it brand new for $48. Another good deal lol. Now I have Dooku, Maul, and Vader en route.

I think I've run out of sith to buy so I'll finally stop hahah.

But yeah for a placeholder it's a really good one. The sculpt could benefit from a few changes, but I like it. The eyes look great! And the one I bought doesn't have super bushy eyebrows from what I could tell. Also, the clothing, base, and accessories are really good! Should hold me out until a proper $230 version is announced.

I might separate my displays from movies and games. Since Malgus would be a standalone character (for now), I'll put him with the rest of my video game characters.

Definitely gonna grab him once my Heartbreaker arrives next month.

Trueee. I'm doing the Trilogy Sith Lords together. Maul, Dooku, Vaders(s), and whenever hot toys does Emperor. Dooku is coming tomorrow and maul is on monday. So excited!

Long story short, I like the outfit, but I love the figure because of the sculpt and the cape. I do like how the armor is secured by velcro on the back. The accessories are scant, but its not a big deal. He only has a few sets of hands and his lightsaber (ignited and not). The headsculpt with the respirator is so menacing and powerful. It is truly amazing when you have it in person. (Sorry I'm too tired to write up a full review lol)
