Kyle Reese or young (kid) John Conner please. :)

Would prefer a Kyle Reese myself. I cant stand meddling kids!

Remember I was saying Irish customs are on a crusade at the moment? They do it every year coming up to Christmas.
Loontentoys are great, I used to order from them all the time. Just as much of a chance of Timcents parcels being sent to customs as theirs. They mark everything at $25 as I remember. It's complete pot luck I think.

You seem to be more unlucky than me for some reason. And even when they stop mine they never contact me looking for paypal receipts and so on. In fact I never even see evidence that they open them up. It's just held for a day extra, a sticker is slapped on telling the delivery guy to collect charges of such&such an amount and that's it.

But what do they charge you, how do they know how much to bill you for? Do they just make a cost up themselves.
I've always gotten letters in the mail asking for PayPal receipts to be emailed to them, what seems like a standard form.

I've found a few ways of getting around it though.
:lol

Got mine today.
Only thing that comes to mind is disappointment.
There are good parts but for most of it, it's meh for me.

Don't like the box itself, no slip slide cover or window. Feels fragile.
I was hoping that in hand it would go away but alas no these heads are way too ****ing big :((((
thickening the neck won't help me, it looks wrong to me so I won't bother modding it.
Hot toys also need to go back to the muscular sculpt necks like the mms136 117.
Only a bigger body could help, I will try on a MOS body.
Also I find the sculpt soft, smooth. I won't mention the color which is way too healthy on both hs.
Rorywan bd hs incredible repaint makes me cry when I see the stock bd head.

Jacket is beautiful but man that is one thin fabric.
Reminds me of medicom ****** fabric on kaneda that end up peeling, ripping...
Be careful.
Shirt is too short.
I hate hot toys for not providing a clean jacket and shirt.
And to know that they are out there in hot toys factories waiting to be damaged ^^

Pants are wrong color again but are much better than the mms136.
Boots are beautifully sculpted, and allow more articulations at the feets but they are too thin, soft.
The foot pegs have to be very firm tight to keep the figure standing, better be safe and keep it on the stand.

Basically what I absolutely love are the accessories.
The stand is beautiful, paint sculpt, details, just great.
The weapons are perfectly sculpted and weathered.
I love the ar18 and Spas shotgun, they are a dream come true for me lol
The gargoyles sunglasses rock and fit nicely.

I have bought some spare parts that will help me rework my custom ps with mms136 custom head wich is the right size for the body.
I'm happy I've not ordered 2, I will probably sell this one down the line wich I can't believe since it was one of my grail.
But that big bobbly head is killing it for me.

Just my two cents happy for those who love it :)

Fair assessment Olbertfrog. I can work with it but, out of the box, it's no Robocop. My first impression was that he's ****ing tiny. I thought the sculpts looked better in person but yeah, definitely too big for these bodies. They manage to make the body look like a standard true-type.

I can agree with most of it too. I do think the head size looks a little less bad in hand much like the DX13 did. Most pictures make it out worse than it is. But the way the neck looks is shameful.

I was going to try out the KP02 with clothes and everything, but since that one has some troubles with the hip, I have to try and fix that first.

BTW I seem to be on a roll. Today I will pick up the unmentionable Art Figure at the post office and that one also escaped the dreaded customs people. :yess:

P. Yeah but I was too at first I felt the muscular necks made the hs pin headed with their reversed v shape but with the proper padding they look great.

A-dev exactly he looks like standard body.

But guys I got a good news, tried the hs on a mos body and it looks great.
The hs is the same size as mos one, ht should gave used that body with bigger legs, as the feel a bit baggy with the mms238 pants nothing major I'm just being nitpicky (Will either modify the legs pad them/swap with the original body legs if I can find a way or use platoon Barnes pants which are tighter and have the right color)Jacket fits great. Really it's way much better.
Hot Toys shame on you

Pics when my iPad will be charged :)

I wonder if HT has any new base bodies in the making, you would have thought we might have seen some new styles by now

What were the problems for trying to use the MMS136 body for this? I imagine the head doesn't simply pop on, but is it possible with a little adjusting?

I think the problem was that the internal ball/stalk is too tall. It in turn pushes the neck plug up too high and when you attach a 238 head to it it's too high, a giraffe effect.

Overall I think the Tech Noir figure is better, especially for the time it came out. I like the punk outfit over the leather jacket look. The body & head proportions are better. The 136 looks like Arnie's physique in 1984.
I like the almost snarling expression on the 136 clean sculpt.

Got mg processing notice. Woo-hoo!! :yess:

As did I.

Right now I'm most eager, believe it or not, to strip this figure down and turn him into this rather simple look

I guess it'd make more sense for me to go with the Motel attack version but it's too similar to the Police Shootout so it's gonna wait.
