Nice. Though I expect more from you, Rory. Like Alfred isn't holding his umbrella properly. :lol

And btw it's "you are dead", not your.

If that's how it'll look in hand, I'm pretty pleased. :rock

Damn :lol

Had no idea that's your real surname :lol

Reminds me of dracula's butler for some reason.

Btw, might be a good idea to edit and hour out the add and phone no portion.

Somebody didn't get lucky last night.
Actually it should be "you're" it's a reworded quote from Nicholson in Batman. So your wrong as well, so there. :lol

As for the umbrella, I had to stick it to his hand with sticky tac. That's about as good as I could get it in 5 mins.

:lol

Ah ok. So how's the belt etc compared to the dx12

And did you get a tracking for the BR 2.0 just yet?

These accessories are better than all previous versions. I love them all. The belts are great, but my favorite piece is the grapple gun and holster. I don't have the figure yet, but I that pic of Batman that Rory posted is as good as it looks and it's as good as these accessories, then we have a mini-QS Batman on our hands.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with Alfred and Bruce as well man, you may want to hold on to them.

It's you are wrong or you're wrong. Again :lol

But yeah, show us more pics! And side by side comparison with the dx12 if possible. Can you confirm the difference between the cowls?

And after handling it for a few days now, have you changed your mind bout wanting to mod it :lol

Do you have the QS in hand as well?

So the only thing that separates this from the QS are the shoulder armor at this point. Seems like they are saving the last hoorah for the final 3.0 ver.

Youre out of you are friggan mind.

No mods required here, mind you I might just plop this new head onto my modded Dx12 body and use this body in the armory.
I love the QS001, I wasn't blown away by it at first, but as time has gone on, I've grown to really appreciate it.

This happened to me with my DX 02, years back.

You're putting the clips in wrong. I can't really illustrate it, but you have to put those tabs in vertically and then slip them into the slots they're tucked in under the plastic. Once you get it and it's flush with the cape/armor, you're gold. You'll never have a problem again.

Maglor might have a video on it. This is one of those things where a demonstration helps.

Thanks mate, I appreciate the advice.

EDIT: I've just watched Maglor's video on YT. So the bit that's stitched to the cape goes in the hole but the longer bit doesn't? Yikes, I was trying to get the whole clip under the plastic.

Actually, the belts kinda suck. :lol

After messing around with these for a couple of minutes, one of the belts already broke. It wasn't my fault, there was a small, small defect on one of the belt links where you connect the back belt to the front part with these two millimeter pegs (and a rectangular piece that holds into the underside like a simple clamp). They won't line up right, so they don't work. I could see this frustrating a lot of people.

Then, attaching the cylinders, boxes and holster is no easy task. Hot Toys didn't take the foam tape straps of the inside of the belt into account when they were making the attachment clips. So , now when you put them on, they dig right into the foam, ripping/deforming the pieces as they gouge in. If they had just fit them properly by taking the foam strips into account, they would have worked like a charm.

So yeah, one broken belt due to defects in ONE minute link and I'd you out on the attachments for any required look, you're going to gouge/ruin the belt. :lol

Weapons themselves are great though. Loving the individual grapple hooks that plug into the gun (be careful though, I think once they're in, it's one time assembly. The pegs are so thin and I can't tell if they diecast.

Guess the belt attachments are just display pieces then.

They're meant to be used and function (they included parts to do it), but I wouldn't.

My advice, leave everything in the armory but the weapons. Only use the belt that comes on the figure.

I hope you got the set for cheap, since it'd sting if it weren't so.

But yeah, I don't normally play with the parts anyways. Any pics to the current display?

It was $70ish shipped for all the parts. Grapples, guns, tools, batarangs, sticky bomb guns (those were tucked in the cardboard, almost threw it away), attachments, etc. Doesn't sting too bad, I just wish I could get a replacement for one of those links.

Later, if I can get the holster and belt attachments on without ruining the inside of the belt, I'll post pics.

Thanks for the warning, as I said earlier the belt on my Batman broke off, next to the buckle. They haven't used enough glue. it's a simple enough job to repair although I worry about putting glue in the proximity of the suit. Oh, and the very top of the crotch isn't stuck down. Don't know if this is a fault or not but if the crotch peels off that is the last HT figure I ever buy (again).

I first said this in 2008 when I got a 2 in 1 Superman figure which had a massive glue stain on the pants over the crotch. The all time worst QC problem ever, I felt like my wallet was laughing at me.

Awesome, just saw that you got yours DiFabio, that was pretty fast shipping! Yeah, that grapnel w/ holster has been a long time waiting since the DX02 one was just big and wrong... definitely a nice piece to have so you don't have to hide the grapnel under his cape in the back. Sorry to hear about the belt.
