Great display and pics, Number 6....and welcome!


While I deliberate over getting the new set, I had another couple of looks at my DX12...no enhancements, no eye paints or custom cape...just out of the box the way it came.



....and I think it still displays pretty well.



The "new" version does have some "pluses" going on...the "modified" eyes being the most noticeable to me. That armory looks really cool but....still thinking about it...

Remember when it was unique to own a HT figure? You were part of a special (small) club.

But now....everyone in world seems to have jumped onto the bandwagon.

Prices have gone insane...

The bigger the fanbase the better(and more) figures. Plus HT wasn't really that good until recently and I think people are starting to notice the improvement and getting on board. If you want to belong to a small collecting group again collect Mattel DC Total Heroes figures.

Honestly, when I decided to buy a Batman figure, I didn't know that I could have chosen between DX12 and the armory version. When I saw armory pictures I thought that armory was an Alfred figure with a diorama
I think that my Dx12 looks better than others I saw in the internet, I'm satisfied with the pose, the angry mouth, and the possibility to display the figure with Bale's head, but sincerely if I hadn't bought DX12 weeks ago, and I had to decide now, well, I think I'd go for the Armory.

I think we know what J&B is trying to say. Generally speaking, this hobby has grown considerably in the last few years just by going by forums and other social media. I dont know anyone who collects HT or dolls or figures in general, still, the hobby doesn't feel as 'exclusive' as it once did.

You could probably get the stock cape to that position. I've done it once before. Just simple dragging it to one side and let the base hold it there.
