OMG, it's like night and day!

So much better, I can hardly contain myself. This is definitely the best Kryptonion suppository that has ever been created.

It's the first time that I've noticed that the armory suit is not a straight remake of the DX12..

My guess is that any differences seen are caused by combinations of production line variance (tooling, materials, assembly and packing), lighting/photography and display posing/futzing.

The carbon fiber part on the leg armor looks better too. However it's still unsure which one will last longer at this point. With HT you never know :lol

I can see quite a bit of bale likeness in the armory cowl now.

That being said, belt of the DX 12 looks better, with the magnet parts and all?

I just addressed this with the comment above yours, material variance in the new production run. ;) And yes, it looks better in photos, might not be as big a deal in person.

This kind of thing happens when for example, a particular fabric/material is no longer available from a supplier and a replacement/alternative is suggested and substituted at production time. I doubt it's a design upgrade or it would have been called out in the marketing materials.

I think so too. The new one just doesn't 'flow' as well.

Is it worth the upgrade having the DX12 already Rory?

Yeah man, I'm pretty impressed overall. The eyes look a lot better. And the suit is a little glossier, some different Teflon sections etc. it just looks a lot less toylike than the DX12, whilst the changes are minor. I'm certainly glad I picked it up, I will sell some of my modded DX12 parts now I think.

Rory, I won't bug you for pics but I'd love to read what your thoughts are on it.

No worries man. It's an amazingly fun box to open up, and it's of a very high quality. I will try and get some pics up in next couple of days. :duff

Hey Rory. Just a few questions. Is the bats body worth getting loose? I have the new armory bats head coming in for my dx12 figure but am wondering if the body is that much different or better. I do not pose bats much with his legs bent etc so articulation-wise an upgrade does not matter to me. Also what is the difference in the dx12 neck and the new one? Thanks.

I'm gonna add my 2 cents to the Nolan films discussion in the Armory thread.

This scene.

Bruce walks in, pretends to be a drunk ass and tells everyone to GTFO, five minutes later the mansion burns. The problem I have with the scene is I didn't hear any cars leave while all of this was taking place. That would mean the disgruntled partygoer's were most likely chatting around outside about what a **** Wayne was as the mansion started to go up in flames. To their eyes dude came home, told everyone to gets lost and proceeds to burn down his own house.

Yet, it is never mentioned or brought up ever again. Three films and not one "Hey Bruce remember that party when you burned down your own ****ing house lol, what the hell was that all about?"

At the end of the film Alfred hands him a paper whilst he's in the back of the car, it shows the story about how Bruce burned the house down.
