I've said it before and I'll say it again, I can't forgive the fact that to me reg goku misses essential faces. The bonus parts have little impact on me if I care really little for them. The energy effect was fairly cheap. He's the best goku, but compared to most other figuarts (okay, not including ssj vegeta, indeed) he still ranks lower.

gohan, trunks, piccolo, cell, frieza, reg vegetal, the twins, hell even krillin is a better release imo.

I would rank Trunks and Perfect Cell for top quality. I just received Trunks today and he is astounding.

Smiling face and smirking face is the most notable missing faces imo.

Smirk face is a definite miss but he has the smiling face though...isn't that the face that you have in your avatar?

Edited: I just refreshed the webpage and saw the Goku picture. I'm all for the extra Super Saiyan faces but for the Son Goku figure, which I thought Silrian was referring to, he has the smiling face.

If I had money, I would get a SDCC Goku. ...No *****, I know. I spent the money that I had on other figures and characters that I didn't have before him though. I figured he could always be that Chase/Ultra Rare figure.

I keep looking at my SDCC Goku and surprisingly don't regret spending the $205 on him. In fact, the more I have him, the more I'm glad I got it and the $205 seems like no big deal.

Tamashii probably made the mistake of saying they wanted to make an android saga Goku. Goku only has a proper smile in the cell saga, so an android saga version would be "inappropriate"

I know, that's what upsets me the most. That's why I said we should start a petition or something and let them know that there's collector outrage. Not that there's a guarantee on them caring but still...at least it would be out there.

I suppose you could ask on their Twitter or Facebook unless there's a possible SS2 Goku release with SS Goku happy face similar to 18's extra Krillin head.

I know Crisis kept on stating that Datong or, can't remember the name who makes Trunks' head, are developing a Super Saiyan 2 Goku head. If they added the smiling face to that, it would kill two birds with one stone.

Yeah, I mean there's still quite a few Super Saiyans left to produce, long haired Trunks and Majin Vegeta that come to mind, before making a Super Saiyan Goku 2. It may be smart to keep him for later down the line so they can release another Super Saiyan version of Goku while doing other characters.

I'm thinking of ordering the Bandai Tamashii Nations Saint Cloth Myth EX Display Stage from Amazon. I really like the energy effects at the feet and think they would look great for Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.
