Not sure. I haven't got much patience for sifting through BS arguments at the moment so I've only been checking the front page of the thread for new pics

Lol, I checked the Spinout thread last night, it SEEMS civil enough, unlike a lot of TFW third party threads. No word on paint, though, yet.

I'd pay extra for it.

Lol, I checked the Spinout thread last night, it SEEMS civil enough, unlike a lot of TFW third party threads. No word on paint, though, yet.

I'd pay extra for it.

It has been pretty good so far, but unfortunately it's probably only a matter of time before it deteriorates.

If getting a paintjob that was comparable with Tiger Track means an extra bit being added onto the price per unit I'd be OK with it. Sunstreaker is one Autobot that won't look right with a shoddy paintjob.

In the meantime I've just ordered the Dr Wu "Rambo" upgrade for G2 Sideswipe which consists of several new weapons and the bandolier from the G2 comic art which came to just over £20 shipped from an Asia based ebay seller.

Omnigonix have now said that Sunstreaker will be fully painted with yellow, black and silver but no chrome as it's not within their budget.

I also read a comment that hinted the shoulder missiles will have some silver paint apps on them which would seem to be another choice made for no reason whatsoever because it's not accurate to the animation model or the original toy.

As nice as it looks, I'm passing. No chrome for the spoiler and turbocharger is a major miss and unecessary changes to details like the side windows and parts of the color scheme for me make it an almost Masterpiece.

I saw that set - looks like it's a must have! I passed on G2 Sideswipe myself (keeping it strictly G1 for budgetary reasons), but it certainly is cool and will look even better with that set.

Good news on the paint; not so sure on the lack of chrome... I'd have to see it first, but I think I would prefer it myself. I'm not quite sure if it's a deal-breaker for me, but it might be. After all, I still think there's a better than even chance we'll see an official release.

I agree that if you want to make a "masterpiece" third party figure, you can't aim for half-measures. Of course the bottom line is important, but it's a premium product. If the price has to be raised a bit to allow for things like this, I'm sure people will pay an extra $5-10 for the figure.
