Well, it is really hard to paint even in PSD:)

XM yellow and blue....and I hate the yellow and blue costume

Well, the brown Wolverine was one where Sideshow created a thread at SF asking for customer input on design/pose. If they listen to what the fans want, they are capable of creating an incredible statue.

That said, they better bring their A game to match or top the XM.

This was confirmed a few months or more back but was put on hold as SS was coming out with a brown one so you will see SS one's first. Whenever the Marvel/Fox battle gets resolved, hopefully soon.

I don't believe XM ever came out and officially said they were coming out with a Brown Wolverine. Board members close to XM hinted on it, but XM never announced it.

My definition of confirmed means XM announced it.

They did say on SF.

We do have the Brown Wolverine concept art but it is still in the approval stages. It has been pushed back to avoid the same character launching at the same time (product cannibalism). We'd love to show it but are concerned about possibilities of recasters taking the idea and producing it before we do, which can be bad. So please bear with us until we are ready to reveal...

Thanks Bmutha. Straight from SF XM FAQ :)

Damn! ...My mistake. I'm glad they have the Brown wolverine ...but the question now is how long before they can give us a peak.

SS can definitely nail, if they emphasized on their QC

I think if SSC was really going to push it they would start weeding out the factories that produce the rare abominations that do tend to surface. I also think they should consider bring their production to North America. That way they can have a firmer hand on the rudder of their QC. Now if that doesn't happen then they need to REALLY look at what is going on with certain pieces that makes them turn into a horror show

The only way to sort their QC is to lower edition sizes and they won't do that. It's not going to get any better, they make far too many products to worry about a few rogue paint jobs and chips.

That is the question a lot want the answer to. For me, X-Men and Spiderman above all else. So hopefully soon.

I don't know sailor I am pretty sure that the new Spiderman Com and Apocalypse have cost them a pretty penny with returns. The thing that is hard to figure out is WHY that happens. Gladiator Hulk, MJ, Gwen, the BW all look awesome and seem to have pretty okay QC and larger ESs. So what was the difference in the end? That kind of thing doesn't just happen. I almost think they need to go through their productions forensically to see what the hell is going on. Maybe it is a certain set of factories, or managers that are the problem. Who knows, but we do know that when they are on they are REALLY on.

They can't show anything until their are in a legal position to produce the actual statue. Like was said in the quotes before. If they showed the design before they could get moving a recaster would swipe it for sure. This pissing match with fox needs to end. However, I am pretty sure Spiderman is on the way... My Spidey Sense is tingling... lol

I can definitely understand why XM isn't revealing anything, snipers will jack their idea. I too can't wait for XM spiderman line, especially with Sosa on board, I will be poor but happy. :)

There is so much cool stuff a coming from what I have heard. All I can say is when a few little birdies dropped me a line I was like

It's just a matter of time before SS implements a restocking fee for people who don't want to keep the statue after receiving it... That's my prediction...

They made something like 5000 spidey's though, at $300 a pop that's $150 grand. Even if they got 500 returned (which is extreme), they might have shipped back out half of those to wait list then took the hit on a minimal amount. Really what we see is a tiny portion, if 3 or 4 people complain about a product on the freaks board, all of a sudden the ENTIRE line must be a dud.

Maybe some factory's are worse but really there's another 4 PO's up before anyone can get a word in. They would make so much money that I don't really think it bothers them, they might say it does but the volume of product they turn over is insane. The Batman PF alone probably made them half a million bucks from one statue.
