No word on if the head comes off or not? I've never bought a custom head but would really love one for this. I think everyone prefers the mask with wings so

I prefer the helmet. But I'd love a custom head anyways. Haha also an unmasked head to like the batman PF one coming.
I'm in the minority, I like the stenciled on wings. Looks more realistic to me.

Yeah. The idea of wings stapled to a mask/cowl doesn't make sense in war times. Hahaha

Wings on the side of the helmet just don't work with this piece IMO.

I can just picture cap using a helmet as weapon. Shield had a bad ricochet, knifes gone... Just using the helmet as brass knuckles now!

I'm also with you on this too Mark. Having the wings printed on the helmet totally works for this piece...reminds me of the helmet he used in the Marvel movie 'The First Avenger'

I prefer a helmet with stenciled on wings. The first avenger kind of look. Which is a reason I like this one so much.
Funny I commented on my son's captain America toy yesterday saying he was wearing a mask and my wife quickly corrected me saying Captain America wears a helmet I didn't know she paid that much attention to it.

One of the many reasons that TFA is so brilliant IMO. Made the suit practical while still taking a moment to honor the classic look.
