Yes, it should since you get alot of statue for an fair price imo :yess:
But i have also seen on this site, people that order late do get a very low number. May that only happen to those who are on waitlist then? Then it will make sense, but not when ordering directly....So i was for some time thinking all was made and sold randomly numbered.

Anyone know for a fact, that if you pre-order straight away you will get the number as customer nr on that order? (understand my explanation?:rotfl)

So it is then!

It should be edition number after your actual customer number, on that one order!

I agree, I asked Alex this, basically the answer was that it comes down to time. SS ships soo much out of their warehouse that they don't have the time to sort them in that manner. I'd love it if they could find a way to do so...

With Sauron it was split up into 2 batches so we at least know they are into the 2nd batch, and with every new owner it seems like it is a higher and higher number. I would be surprised if he lasts the year.

Yeah maybe, if he was even close to being low though, he'd have the low quantity warning. He is an excellent statue at a reasonable value however, I suspect he's selling just fine, especially with the double rewards offers.

It's hard to say, the low quantity system has been a joke lately so it could sell out anytime, and quicker than before too with the extra rewards like you said.

There's quite a few more of them available. No way they would offer free shipping to a nearly sold out item

I still dont believe that nearly 1500 of these sold....not with the Lava glow anyway...maybe some time in 2015. I bet a few retailers still have a few to sell too. This is not one of those pieces IMHO that will jump up in the secondary price market and I think will remain under a $1000 for quite some time even if sold out at SS

I don't know about that. Plenty of people like the glow and it is already a deal compared to most everything SS puts out. Plus you know there will not be another Sauron anytime soon like you worry about with other characters.

We will just have to wait and see

I know this guy is labeled as 1/4 scale.
I know Sauron is larger than an average human, thus his quarter scale being much larger.

With that, the size of Sauron, what would be comparably sized lines? Is he close to 1/3, legendary?
I have come to enjoy the size and presence of Sauron and am looking to adding more pieces to match his size and was wondering which "type" of line would be most comparable to him.

And BTW, in the world of TotR, Sauron needed to be bumped up. :D

Film Sauron is close to 12 ft tall. It is a 1/4. If this was a statue of a normal guy it would be a 1/2 scale piece, fact. LSFs would do it in size comparison. ECC is coming out with some nice big pieces as well. PCS has their Darkness piece too. Not much out there for 3ft jobs. Next best thing after would be 1/3 (2ft plus) Cinemaquettes
