Well Cell still isn't tall enough at all, but he was tall for this line before they jumped into Broly.

But I'd stall rather have them keep characters from the same period in scale, which in this case means the android/cell era. 16's weight is more in his upper body so he'll definitely still look like a beast next to cell.

I just realised 16 can literally call his pecks guns.

Wait...........

NOOOOOOOOOO, he better come with the ultimate effect piece!

He needz da birdz!

I'm impressed that they're going to be apparently different faces for Android 16 rather than heads. I would have figured for a, mostly, bald headed character, they would want to hide the seams.

I know someone was hoping to be able to get sdcc goku for close to $200. This one won't end much higher than that https://www.ebay.com/itm/261566519420

It's at $290 now. I don't think posting live non buy it now auctions on a public forum is the best of ideas. I wasn't interested n this particular piece, but I'd be a little angry if an auction that I thought was flying under the radar got posted here.

While that's understandable for most cases, the bidding history for this particular auction seems to indicate that the same person was raising the price every 5 seconds. So something seems quite strange in that case.

Edited: Or does that mean that somebody else bid a higher number and they were trying to match or exceed the price?

I was the highest bidder at 180 or something and it seems a really "clever" guy set a max bid of 290$ half an hour before the end of the auction, so the other one kept bidding until he thought it was too much I guess...

That's what I don't get about these eBay people. Why set the bid at .99 cents if you as a seller fluff up the price anyway by making consecutive fluff bids. Everyone knows it's you, all they have to do is look at the bid history

What I don't get is why people raise the bids so quickly as well, not even the fluff bids but just in general randomly. Or why the crazies never think at all when they're bidding...

I think that has more to do with setting your highest bid in case you won't be able to get to a computer. One person seemed to bid high but the other bidder had to keep betting to get close or even past the other person's bid. The funny thing about this seems to be that somebody swooped in and bought it for $300 when it had a few seconds left and beat the other two bidders.

That could be but a lot of times this is done so prematurely it makes no sense.

Aww man I tried that once for a PAK DMC 4 Dante but ebay glitched on me and my bid didn't go in. I remember someone trying that on me once though for a different figure but I set my max bid already and they failed :lol

Angelo, SDCC Gohans almost all have that issue; arm pops out the socket when flexing the elbow joint. My second Gohans was so bad it wouldnt even pop back in, part of the reason I got rid of it.

Btw, if you want to get your own back on fake ebay sellers fluffing prices up report them! Its against ebays policy to artificially increase prices with fake accounts.

Received sdcc piccolo today which completes my DBZ s.h.f line it took me a few months to complete it as I found out about this line late. It's been a crazy and expensive ride but at the end they are worth it. I will continue to collect them as long as the line is going.

In theory I suppose I see your point. But auctions only fly under the radar if no one is looking for the piece or if the seller misspells the name or something. A simple search for "SDCC Goku" anytime in the last week would have brought up that auction. Ebay is publicly listed, my posting it here shows a small fraction of people compared to those who search for items on ebay.

I'm surprised it shot up so much. But the crazier one is a Trunks auction ended today at $400! I'm not sure what's worse, if that's due to fluff up bidding or if people really wanted it so bad they bid that high against each other.
