re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

90 mins of sleep today thanks to the construction going on in our house. Time for work!
That sucks. :( Don't fall asleep while driving!

I don't work about that stuff as much as I worry about the drug and sex culture that's on the rise. Teens nowadays just look like drugged out dirtbags or thugs. Having 2 daughters scares the **** out of me. We were at the playground with them last year and I over heard a couple of 10-12 year olds talking about fisting videos and wanting to do that to a girl. I was like wtf?!?! Porn is just too accessible these days and it's giving kids the wrong opinion.
That saddens me. I wish I could watch fisting videos when I was 12. I mean, um, that sort of thing disgusts me. :monkey3
Seriously though, I understand what you're saying. It amazes me how easy it is to access porn or naked pics online. They are everywhere, even when you aren't looking for them! It wouldn't surprise me if teen pregnancies are on the rise. I wonder how many parents take the time to block those sites...

At Tokyo Disneyland? Did you do Star Tours? Unless they changed it, there were lots of droids and aliens there which other Disney parks did not have...
Yep, star tours was broken so didn't go on ride but hopped for something special in shops.

Look what I got!! It's probably been in the mailbox over the weekend, but I'm kind of lazy when it comes to mail. This hardback is gorgeous with nice crisp graphics on both the front and back. Thanks again, Scott. :duff

yeah Star Tours was not the reason to go. The reactions were pretty funny especially on roller coasters almost with the price of admission. The announcements trying to mimic the US ones but in Japanese were also hilarious (especially big thunder mtn). I am glad I went , I can say I have been there. I am glad I didn't spend a whole day there as they had a after 5pm deal which was perfect. 5 hours in park got on the popular rides I wanted to hit , saw most the electrical parade (which is easy to do even walking around since the park is so SMALL).

Cool stuff hell no, they barely had anything. Few key chains and couple other items you can find anywhere. Haunted mansion was smaller out front and inside. The graveyard is a ill side of a hill and I think the building was actually different. I haven't been to Disney land in years so it may have changed there too but few things i noticed was the long hallway with the pictures that change as you go is is not there(you pretty much go into elevator then right into the loading zone. The head the shoots up is gone, the song sounded like it could be in Japanese couldn't tell audio was really bad on all the rides. I don't think it was is since Pirates was all in English but couldn't tell in Haunted Mansion. All the ques were much smaller especially inside the ride area. Space mtn and big thunder mtn seemed the closest to normal. The tea cups stop you if you get it going to fast, which sucked and actually hurt when you go to pull the wheel and it wheel,is stopped from moving. The size was the biggest shock it was maybe half the size , it was maybe 5-10 walk around whole park.

I'm all over that show!! HWM rocked Slims last year. I had my arms around the shoulders of perfect strangers, screaming my favorite HWM anthems. :)

Ahh I miss that feeling! Punk Rock shows are the best for comradery. I saw HWM once in the basement of a church in Philly. I went to go see Leatherface who opened for them.

Just got this from the supposed winner of my Thor figure - "Would you please cancel this auction. Some one already purchased this figure for me and I won't be needing two. I apologize and hope you understand."

Can I report him for backing out of a bid, this is the first one I've dealt with?

Was it an eBay auction? What you have to do is open a non-payer dispute. Just choose option for cancelling the transaction. If you're lucky then the buyer will cancel it on their end right away otherwise you have to wait 7 days or so for eBay to allow you to auto-close it and get your fees back. I'm in the middle of this now. The buyer asked for it to be cancelled and now they are refusing to just click a simple button so I have to wait. And the other fun part? You can't even leave them bad feedback. That site is so ****ed up it's not even funny.

Yeah, this guy watched the auction for 3 days, bid at the last minute and now says someone got it for him already. If he could at least be honest and say he shouldn't have bid at all I'd probably be more understanding.
